If you accidentally combust, I would recommend giving it an iso cleaning. I use a q-tip followed by the brush and then use the PA to burn away the iso. I do have brown and black spots, but it doesn't effect the overall performance one bit.

I have had the first beta PA for about 6 months and I've had to tighten it once and that's it. I used the tip of a led pencil to do so.

I second Vitolo as I have the magnetic OEM one. Grinds very fine which is prefect for the launch box. Well worth the $

@ Cluffy From my experience and experimentation with the C-9000, running the break-in 1-3 times with brand new batteries gives the best results. My 2700's are currently hovering around 2550 which is considered normal. My 2400's are around 2330 after running break-in 2x.

@ Chimpy: I purchased some 2400's from Newegg approximately 2 weeks ago and the markings are as follows: AAI240-AAAM I don't think you have anything to worry about at the end of the day. It could be how they keep track of batches of batteries or something.
