Thanks for the reply ... I am having some custom bags made 3" by 7" for a 3" by 6" pre press. I want to press 50 grams of B.H. ... so I should be good.

Is there some kind of formula for the most BH or bud to press per sq in ? We put 42 grams of BH into a 3" by 5" pre press mold. Almost 3 grams per sq in. It seemed to have good recovery like when we pressed 28 grams. <2 grams sq in. Anyone have an idea of what the max we can press per sq in ?

Just put the bud in parch. paper and smash it ? - We usually make pucks in nets. Have you ever compared recovery with and w/o a press bag ? Pre press makers claim more recovery than just pressing bud. I would not try and reuse bags that have pressed bud ...but we usually press BH.
