I like to use the ABV later, and doing this makes it impossible to get the hash out of the hemp fiber after it crumbles to a powder. I also like to chop up / stir the hash after one heat cycle inside the tip (with the digger outer) without having to dump it out.

FWIW, I experienced rusting on the DYNAVAP logo on the cap when I had it kept unused for an extended period in very humid environment. It’s the newer 19 cap where they surface etched the logo. The rust came off with light sanding, but cosmetically the etched letters now look corroded.

Nothing fancy; just the elegant basics that I enjoy. Upgraded with a Ti tip this year, which I am soon going to test with the finest water sieved and warm pressed hash ala Frenchy Cannoli. Yum.

I said cooling engineering, not airflow. The real difference in airflow is because of the notches in the tip because it creates space on the top under the cap. But really any differences are quite subtle.

My reasoning exactly! I almost bought the HR Fury2 for 420 because I read it performs well with the type of material I use. Ended up getting another M. The Vapcap hits the spot - although I do wish it were possible to use it over extended times, and that is where the electronic devices shine.

In my opinion, the sale price point for the M represents the true value for the device. The normal retail prices are a bit harder to justify, especially for parts. I didn’t buy the 2019 M but instead got the 2018 plus a Ti tip because I lost my 18 tip and gave the stem to a friend. So my buddy...

I have dropped my Vapcap with the cap on, and while the top flat surface got a slight dent, it still performs as before. So unless you have a tendency to lose 'em, these things take a beating and keep on ticking (clicking?)

That’s entirely because of the notches in the 2019 tip. Actually, helical grooves such as on the 18 M make more sense from a cooling engineering perspective. I’m not entirely convinced the new serpentine pattern is an actual improvement beyond cosmetic.
