    Athlete Vaporists?

I've been enjoying the Tempest powered by a Wand on winter rides; no worries about wind with the IH. My kit also has a Dyna with a torch for backup. Like I noted in the post, though, I kept the kit in my pack on that ride.

    Anvil by Vestratto

I just stick a small wad of cotton in the cap. It gets flattened in there over time, and it damps the force.

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

I find that it's much easier to just pull the bowl from the stem and install it on a simple glass WPA. When I'm using a water piece (or a j-hook) I don't want the cooling/restriction the stem provides, and I'd rather not have to clean all those little bits. I can clean the glass WPA by running...

Glass Vapes From The Rogue Wax Works

That looks potent. I'd love to be able to use the QC torch-free. Have you considered a steel sleeve to work with induction? The Camouflet Inductor could light it up.

70% is best for disinfecting because it doesn't evaporate as quickly, and its longer duration is more effective at killing bacteria. For solvent use, like cleaning a vape, I believe stronger is better.

Glass Vapes From The Rogue Wax Works

I have more than one reach test. There's the sitting at the computer test, the mid-ride safety break test, and the melting into the couch test. I have best-in-class gear for each situation. However, for the ultimate reach test, those moments when I want the thickest, most flavorful, most...

The current music scene is bigger & better than ever 🌠 so let's share & enjoy some recent / new indie music

After Dave Grohl saw Otoboke Beaver, he said, "It'll blow your mind, dude. It's the most fucking intense shit you've ever seen." After I caught them in Portland last month, I'd have to agree.

    Athlete Vaporists?

First Tracks! I have to admit, I didn't stop for a safety break--but I was well medicated at the start.

I'm not aware of any, and I think they would limit efficiency and reduce airflow. They work great in a device like the Mighty, but that uses a conduction oven, so losing heat to the capsule isn't a big deal. I'd say that quick debowling is always a good practice. ABV tends to get a little...

Advise me on my next possible desktop. Crushing on the VB1.5!

That was one of the choices when I picked up my first vape in about 2007--I ended up getting a Silver Surfer instead. That was my main vape for about 10 years. It's been sitting idle for a few years, but it's still going strong. I'd probably still be using it except that it's the original...

    RIP'S.....

Something about him seemed invincible, like so many larger-than-life figures, but I suppose it's no surprise longevity wasn't in the cards for him. It's hard to imagine an artist like him making it today, even as a counter-culture anti-hero. I hope he's sailing the eternal seas with Commodore...

Is this an FC member's spouse?

I mean, this is definitely someone who's discovered thermal extraction: "He knows it disturbs me (I don’t like the smell and I really don’t like his altered state), so he has found ways to do it that I do not smell."...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Not only that, but the other side of the lid has a socket that fits the Tempest tip, so even if you monkey-fist that tip onto the bowl, you can still release it, even if it's hot. I've never even had to use it, but that's still one of my favorite features, just for showing that extra level of...

    Dank Mickey!

I got so excited when I heard the headline on the radio that I abandoned rationality for a moment. That should have been apparent, but I was too busy finding an AI generator that would indulge me. Not surprisingly, AI doesn't seem to care about copyrights. Still, it should be fun to see where...

    Dank Mickey!

It's the mouse's Public Domain Day! That means Mickey Mouse is free to be Mickey, with no more fascist corporate restraint. I can't wait for the merch.

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Yes, I'm sure--I keep the mouthpiece locked. It has too much play otherwise. I really don't care for rattly bits. But I've easily removed the play in the shield with an extra o-ring, so that problem is solved for me. Thanks, as always, for your infinite patience with our petty concerns. I can't...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

I appreciate @Brenyo stepping in to acknowledge this is normal. I assumed that it must be, given the design, but it was good to have that confirmed. Still, I agree that it can be annoying. It only rattles when you handle it in a particular way--most of the time it feels tight. So when it does...

    GooRoo Glass

I'm going to say she's got Average Appendages. I'll admit, I was distracted by the nails, maybe even a little star-struck. Plus, I was surrounded by glass, and there were people playing with fire. I'm sure I'm not a reliable witness. Still, I can say that she's not very tall, and I don't recall...

Nautilus Sherlock Dry Herb Vaporizer 3x Giveaway

Jungle Juice I can't pick an all-time favorite; there are too many great strains. Each year I choose four different strains (Oregon allows four plants per household) for my outdoor grow, in large part based on clone availability. Jungle Juice, from Kaprikorn Cannabis Nursery, is my top choice...
