In TCR or other temperature control modes, you don't actually use the full wattage all the time. It's variable and depending on your draw may not even go above 35W except initially with heating up.

Really depends on your use. If you're using lower wattage, a slower draw speed is better. If you're using a higher wattage or TC then a faster draw tends to be better.

If you haven't tried increasing your drawspeed in TC mode, you may also want to give that a try. Everyone I've let use my Splinter/Splinter Z, I've had to tell them to increase their draw speed to get good results.

Decreasing the temperature difference will definitely help deter it from happening. Baking soda also can help raise the boiling point of the water and the cleaning in general.

Had this exact issue with 6 mm Sapphire and liger 20mm SiC. Just basing off of personal experience and science. They're cheap, not like it's the worst thing in the world. Just throwing it out there.

This isn't the Zion. The Zion was regulated via a potentiometer and buck chip. Zion M is unregulated beast with double the heater of the Zion. Splinter Z has the heater of the Zion. Splinter has the heater from the Milanna.
