Thanks. Already using the 10mm and will consider getting another battery but my first instinct is to exercise my consumer rights and return the unit. The key will be whether the battery indicator works or not. Leaving the unit on charge for extended period to see if things operate correctly...

Yeah, got mine today and exactly the same observations. This thing gets really hot to hold and press your lips against, uncomfortably so. And I have no idea if the battery is fully charged or not, but unit keeps buzzing and saying only one bar left...annoying...really annoying...
