    Pen Focus Vaporizer

I see that the new version is now availible in most stores, thats good ! Not entirely happy with just one hole though. If someone got the new version maybe he can test the tube is still airtight in the direction of the positve/electronics, thx. You will need uprotected high drain batteries...

Doesnt really matter wich type off 18650 top shape the battery has, if something goes wrong with the spring it just needs to excedently touch the positive and the housing. The spring gets squeezed between the postive of the battery and the pin of the device so its by default in a "good" spot for...

Glad to hear that the manufacturer reacted and is trying to fix the issues! My focusvape is allrdy back to the retailer but i might be willing to try out another one later this year after the fixes. I also wanted to point out again the other problem i saw with the device and thats the spring on...

@VapoShop Ive a question regarding Boundless products. I see you re an official partner with Boundless and its stated on your website that those products carry a 2 year warranty (granted by boundless i assume, they say it 3 year though). Iam from the EU and wanted to ask how warranty request...

@djurodjakovic 3-4x 1.5 mm airholes should be more than enough. The best spot to drill them in is near the level of the positive terminal since those batteries tend to vent from the top. If you want more info just search in some ecigs forums for ppl drilling their mech mods.

Another thing: The spring on the + pole nut seems to be just glued on, do i see this right ?? That thing could easily get detatched if its just glued and produce a short. You normally put springs on the negative side in a tube so you ve no chance to short the positve side of the battery with the...

Well the circuit boards seems to be isolated from the chamber atleast (and the battery housing..), iam assuming this because i cant blow air into the usb port.

Mhh just watched the pics of luke007, tbh, i dont know how u would solder those wires back on the heating element. Did a quick research how this kind of ceramic heater works but couldnt find anything. For the oily taste/smell it could be the very well solderflux leftovers on the solderjoints...

    Pen Focus Vaporizer

@His_Highness I dont see anything like this: The positive pole inside the housing is a nut with a spring on it, surrounded by a black insulator wich seems to totaly seal the housing on this side. I guess some one could try to get the insulator out, then put the nut (its propably directly...

Puting a Li-ion Battery in a closed, 1mm thin walled metal container with barely any space left, then sucking power from it and put it near your face is by default potentially dangerous. Honestly i feel abit sorry for the focusvape guys and at the same time iam angry at them. The design seems...

    Pen Focus Vaporizer

@PPN I dont own the minivap but the battery pack housing does looks like its atleast partly made of (probably clipped in) plastic. I assume this is not airtight in any way, so no dangerous pressure can build up and the gases will be able to escape savely in case of a battery failure. @MrMonss I...

    Pen Focus Vaporizer

Hi there, long time lurker here. I got the Focus Vape (the "analog" version) yesterday and i was a bit shocked since i found a potential health risk and thought ill give a heads up: The 18650 battery tube is totally sealed, there are no vent holes nor is there venting possible in any other way...
