Does anyone know what is the current recommended 18650 for the Argo? It used to be the Panasonic NCR18650B (green one), but I know they switched to a grey battery now. Anyone know what it is? Thanks!

I think he’s talking about how they include metal screens with the units. But they also say in the manual something like “don’t bother using them.”

    Ok that is really cool!

No the stem fits all the way into the bottom of the chamber, so you can’t pack anything into the actual heating chamber.

Don’t think a couple random internet strangers are going to be able to change his mind. Too bad he doesn’t try it though, it could really help him out.

Just seems like for someone whose throat gets bothered by these vapes, a water rig or even a bubbler would be a good investment. Something like this for the ArGo might even help a ton: https://www.sneakypetestore.com/products/sneaky-pete-argo-bubble-straw?variant=12468262797393

Sorry I don’t know about the bubbler, but I asked Arizer about software updates and they said there have not been any since its release.

The Mighty is definitely a “better” vaporizer in that it is tried and tested for years, has great vapor production, great flavor, great battery life, etc. It’s expensive though, and the form factor isn’t great if you value portability. The FF2+ is still new and untested. We don’t know if it...

Maybe try contacting their support to see if they’ll let you just buy the pieces to change them yourself.

    Firefly 2 Plus

Oh nice didn’t realize there’d by a firmware update for us FF2 folks. Keeps us posted how it turns out! On Firefly’s Instagram they say they will cover rush shipping on accessory orders, but when I tried they still charge for shipping. Has anyone had any luck?

Thanks for the update. That is a really good looking lid. I’m really hoping they offer upgraded batteries for us FF2 owners that might fix some of these issues we have been having since launch.

Agreed. 30 seems doubtful. On mine I usually get about 12 draws max. Starting at med-low, take 3 draws, stir, step up to medium, 3 draws, stir, med-hi, 3 draws, stir, high, 3 draws, spent. After that point I’m getting no vapor. If this is true about the Plus then I wonder about the density of...

Not really. The 2 batteries makes the battery life longer in the Solo, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the heater is stronger. The stems are a bit different, and the heating chamber is a bit narrower in the ArGo, so there will be some differences. But probably nothing major.

They’re very similar, and I have seen videos where people can’t really tell a difference.

Agreed! I just know I like it!

I didn’t say that! I just think the mix depends how you load it.

It’s hard to say whether it’s more convection or more conduction. I suspect it has a lot to do with how you pack the stem. Fuller being more conduction, less full being more convection since your material is further away from the heater. All I know is the flavour is a lot closer to my Firefly 2...
