It's not the magnetic part that's the problem in my case. The part that swivels is coming off very easily when it heats up.

I did close to 10 burn offs and then cleaned the bowl with alcohol and a q-tip. I'm tasting herb and nothing else at this time. Fantastic little device for the price and I highly recommend it.
