Just got one. Enjoying. I have the multi-wp adapter but it doesn't fit my 14mm f piece well. it does work. would prefer to buy a more specific 14mm adapter but haven't yet located one yet.

    Dynavap VapCap Shipping Discussion

Oh man that is a bummer. is this typical? I respect they are doing the work in house, would be willing to wait. don't have a good dry herb vape though.. so kind of want it soon just for that reason. can someone suggest a reseller that has them in stock?

Thought the M was $50... I reckon that is what you meant.. still a significant price difference between the two. On the site it really doesn't do much to distinguish why the variable airflow makes that much difference + looks like you can mod it (planning on trying with my dremel tool + diamond...

Ok.. I now see the 4 categories of vaps they offer. What I mentioned in my question was referring to the Uni, so yes I see what your saying here. This would give me the titanium ends which are said to work better. Also see what your saying about no all titanium uni setup.. which does sound...

the M is SS and in site it said the Ti does better at distribution of heat. How much difference does it make? Also the wood ones had titanium ends... is that a slightly cheaper way to get the Ti ends without spending the money on an omnivap? I spend time in 2 locations and was thinking to get...

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

It has been steadily improving in flavor. I am working my way in slow. I found a few ways to make the bowl smaller with the spacers and did that a few times with fresh herbs just to see how it works and got a few good sessions in. However, mainly I am still seasoning it and came up with a decent...

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

Thanks for the tips. Yesterday I turned it on and left it with a light fan running over it to give the device a little airflow during the process. I think 4 times, used up not quite half a charge. Will hit it up a few more times today given your feedback. The smell has changed a fair amount. I...

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

Just got it in the mail. Unfortunately, I can't say I am off to a good start with this thing. Skipping several other details that came up, I will focus on one primary item - I don't like how the vapor tastes. Lets say on a scale of 1 low to 5 good, maybe starts at a 2-3 then goes down to a 1-2...

Questions and critique request on QWISO S.O.P.

I was reading about this after trying similar methods with some ABV source material. Got decent results but it cracked and burned a bit, nothing like how the oil worked I made with butane extraction using the same source material. At first I thought it was bound water but I dried and dried it in...

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

I had read about this and was planning on starting out doing the same thing. Just ordered mine, it shipped out today. Will know more about this soon : ) Really curious about usage at this point. I ordered the glass spacers but they appear to be not quite that popular now that I am reading...

Cool! tungsten & quartz.. time to learn more about those materials. Halogen is starting to look like an interesting heat source. Btw - read up and the AroMed seems to use a 50w UV free bulb. Thats what I saw on their site as a replacement at least.

    Adjustable heating elements

Thanks. I had not really analyzed those. It seems halogen lights can work as a heat source Herbalizer - Some of the sites mention that this uses a 300 watt halogen light bulb. Going to look into that more. Anyone know what specific type of bulb they are using? I am going to stop by radio shack...

    Adjustable heating elements

Thank you! I will look into this one. Very cool. That is a pretty cool looking creation you have there. I read in the thread and as best I could follow, your heating element is a Lancia rebuildable E-Cig atomizer. That or a similar device looks like a nice option to start with as well. Ok, well...

    Adjustable heating elements

Ok, I had not thought of a car lighter. Another possible heat source to review. More so I meant the smaller form usb rechargable lighters. The have a coil on them similar to most of the pens I am seeing but cost around $10. I saw that as kind of cheaper way to get started than buying a pen just...

    Adjustable heating elements

Been browsing the forum for a little while and have read a lot of threads. I finally decided to register as I want to set out to make my first diy vape and I just found this subforum. I had been mostly in the reviews part so far doing r/d. I have a hot box (no affiliation) and it works great...
