    Dabpress Rosin Plates

Still evaluating the press. My first couple of presses weren't for great yields, the ones since I had to do without a scale (dumb). @psychonaut thanks for the various answers. Knowing that it's bamboo as the insulator is helpful from a durability perspective. The heat soak thing is a little...

    Dabpress Rosin Plates

Thanks man. The 5 weight was what the 20-ton called for. Will grab some of the type you referred instead. Just received my pump and unit today. Gave it two quick goes at work. Nice unit, but I need to get used to it and set up a nice space for it. One thing I did notice that caught me off...

    Dabpress Rosin Plates

@psychonaut do you think a 5 weight will work for the strongway? I have some AW22 5 weight hanging around. https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/FNJ86105

    Dabpress Rosin Plates

Just bought the 10t dabpress and strongway w gauge. I have a couple year old huge 20 ton bailey with plates and it’s just overkill and not ideal. The dabpress sounds like it’s specced out right to me.. it’ll come down to durability for me I think because otherwise I know what to expect. For...

    Dabpress Rosin Plates

I apologize if this has already been covered or not... for the dabpress all-in-one that "tips for drip", is that frame sturdy enough to repeatedly endure the included cylinder's pressure? also, if ordering from USA, are there any import duties?

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

I believe TW's press comes with a 10-ton. It has an option for 20-ton if you buy the parts and install it yourself. Could be wrong but that's the last he told me.

@Oilslick can this be used for rosin production? Today, folks are using 2mil PTFE with success depending on the techniques used.

    CCA Liger banger V3.0

So I just received my flat-coil v3 with SiC and Quartz dishes.. only used the SiC so far. I was caught off guard by how huge the dish is... I mean, huge. I generally only do little dabs about the size of a grain a rice so I have a feeling its overkill, but I assume not a big deal. I'm curious...

Tek Home Rosin Presses under $750 - School Me

The NugRunner v1 has plates that are 1.5 inches in diameter. In practice, this means .5-.8 grams will squish to the area of the plates depending on flower density. Just thought I'd share for reference.

    CCA Liger banger V3.0

Ahhhh, $900-$1000!?!? Congrats to you on the luxury purchase. Hope it works out well. I wouldn't really consider myself someone who is 'strapped' for money as I frequently tend to splurge, but ouch... when I think of spending a grand on a dab surface, as opposed to actual dabs, I can't help but...

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

Just wanted to mention something about the leak through parchment. On my NugRunner that I've described earlier as being worrisome with regard to yields / efficiency, I used to use Reynolds wrap I bought from amazon and never had a leak through. I ran out of my 3 rolls one day and went to Stop...

    Advanced THC e-Juice / mods / tanks / coils / builds / recipes

Just an fyi... you all probably already know this, but in order to obtain such a high percentage of purity, usually some harsher solvents are in use such as hexane. That's ok as long as it's purged properly, but it really take a proper environment to do so. Point being, no matter what vendor...

    Advanced THC e-Juice / mods / tanks / coils / builds / recipes

I'm too lazy to cite references, but I'm pretty sure MCT Oil isn't good for say cooking edibles because its flash point is relatively low (in the 300F area I think) and releases carcinogens after that. I seem to be of the impression vape pens burn hotter than this, otherwise you would not catch...

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

It's definitely a factor of how high a temp and how long the flower was exposed to that temp. However, on some of my older chip testing results, the decarb was only about 10% done. If the rosin is substantially more decarbed than that, I'd imagine it's too high a temp or too long of a press. The...

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

I definitely agree @poonman, rosin is my favorite for a few different reasons. That's why I want to make sure I'm getting the most out of my investment between the press and the flower itself. I tend to average around $60g on the yield one way or the other. If there's something technique wise I...

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

I've definitely approached 20% with top top top flower. However, its just too costly to justify because its marked up so high right now in the medical market in my state. The answer to this is sort of in your first sentence. When weed has 15% thc for example, and lets say you have a gram...

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

Hi all. Noticed the sub is sort of dead at the moment, so wanted to try and jack it real quick. I've had a 1st run NugRunner for a few months now. It works alright but my yields will range from 10-18% depending on the quality of what goes in. It's very hard to find something that yields towards...

    The Nug Runner

@PoopMachine if you're interested, it seems like they are most active on Instagram. I'd suggest checking them out there as they have videos of the unit in action and what not there. It looks to be similar to the old unit, but as @TheNugRunner mentioned, higher pressure output and a bit bigger...

    Liger banger V2.0

I haven't really followed the Liger that much, but from what I gather it isn't currently compatible with a flat coil. True or false? It sounds like the v3 isn't out, but will be compatible with a flat coil. If so, is there any type of ETA or just "it's ready when it's ready"?

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

Yes it works. It's not different than BHO in that regard. When you stir or otherwise agitate the terpenes out, it tends to shift to a budder/crumble. It can happen based on the natural ratios of terpenes:wax:cannabinoid the extract has as well.
