After using a Vapexhale Hydratube with my Herbalizer for the past 2 years or so, I'll never go back to bags or a whip. The hydratube is so much better in every aspect, IMO.

I only ever have to torch the top screen, the bottom one gets all that direct heat so mine stays pretty clean. I think what happens in my case is after a bunch of bowls the residue that accumulates in the SonG starts to melt down onto the screen causing it to get really gunked up. At that point...

Still running factory screens in my herbie bowl. Going on 2 years of every day use. I use a propane torch to burn the residue off the screens. It gets them nice and clean. I'm sure I'll replace them eventually but right now they work as good as the day I got it.

The GH looks neat but they have a LONG ways to come. And it looks like the number of bowls to a single battery is a bit weak for me. I'll stick with my tried and true Mighty for the time being. It's the only portable I've tried that can medicate me like the Herbie can.

I use ISO and salt. Works pretty well. There are a few places where it can be hard to get the residue out but I imagine something like a toothbrush would really make that easy. I just clean mine when it gets bad looking. It does take a while to get nasty though.

I definitely agree about the HT being the best way to use the Herbie. I got one of the new vapexhale hydratubes and absolutely love it. I went from using the whip and bags exclusively to using a whip to bong setup to the hydratube and it is by far my favorite method.
