    The ELEV8R from Elev8 Vehicles

Dang I keep missing them because I work more hours than they are open, haha. I do love my elev8r. I guess this'll give me an opportunity to mess around with torch use. Plus I have other injectors, so, 'saul good.

    The ELEV8R from Elev8 Vehicles

Well, I went to try my elev8r for the first time in a few weeks and the coil won't heat past 300F. Much poorer longevity than I've come to expect from 7th floor. I don't think the coil could have more than 100 hours on it.

    The ELEV8R from Elev8 Vehicles

My friends with the stock PIDs from 7th floor, is there a quicker way to set the temperature than holding the up or down buttons? Some of my vapes vary hundreds of degrees apart and with my hands being crap, it can be pretty annoying.

That does look like a minor crack. If it's brand new to you, I'd get in touch with the seller, but after a quick cleaning I wouldn't hesitate to keep using it. Honestly I probably wouldn't even clean it considering I only use mine through water.

    The ELEV8R from Elev8 Vehicles

Looks normal to me, just like the screen isn't 100% seated. I could be missing something...

    The ELEV8R from Elev8 Vehicles

I'm hanging out today with a pretty darn good $90 ounce of Headband OG from Michigan, which is exciting to me having never paid less than ~$50 per 1/4. I painted my PID and it came out pretty good! Slight tape mishap around the LED screen, but I hardly notice it. Really loving my setup lately...

    The ELEV8R from Elev8 Vehicles

Obviously not as fancy as above, but I have to say, I grabbed an Octo-bowl from the Memorial Day sale, and holy crap. The taste is even better, and you can pack practically sprinkles in there. I'd suggest using a screen with it, however. Glass-screen bowls always suck like that.

    The ELEV8R from Elev8 Vehicles

I never thought I'd need (want) a $200 bowl, but here we are.

    The ELEV8R from Elev8 Vehicles

Figured I'd post the wiring diagram in case anyone hasn't since it's not in the literature that you get with the E-elev8r. This is from the page of the coil from Dabbing Warehouse that I've purchased two of, which work with the stock E-elev8r power supply.

The Pinky: an open-source DIY injector style thermal extraction device

Well said. I should expand on the coil technique by saying that I put the end of the coil against a hard surface AND THEN pushed on it to open up the coil a little. Sorry was very medicated. Still am, but less-so now.

The Pinky: an open-source DIY injector style thermal extraction device

What I did was hold the coil handle and pushed hard on the end of the coil with one hand as I placed the Pinky in the coil with the other. Much easier than I thought it would be. Just get the end of the coil stuck on something and act like you're trying to unwind it. Loving my Pinky for a...

    The ELEV8R from Elev8 Vehicles

I actually just got the coil I ordered today and it works. It was a generic 20mm coil from The Dabbing Warehouse. So now I also have a Pinky.

    The ELEV8R from Elev8 Vehicles

Pardon my ignorance, but I want to also get a coil and a quartz banger, and I'm not very familiar with all that jazz. I'm looking at 20mm. With the Elev8 stock power supply, can I get any 110v xlr connection coil, or does it have to be a specific 100w or special pin layout or something? Thanks...

    The ELEV8R from Elev8 Vehicles

That is awesome, and thanks for the suggestions. I managed to get it pumping by taking the quartz out because it was clogging up the airflow. I have shamed my family with my foolishness.

    The ELEV8R from Elev8 Vehicles

I will definitely try without the quartz. It's tight to the bowl and airflow is pretty good, but maybe it is too clogged with beads. No IR thermo but I could probably find one to use. How would I tell if the coil is 220? Obviously the unit itself is 110. Thank you both, will update when I get...

    The ELEV8R from Elev8 Vehicles

Edit: Solved! Hey all, any tips for an Elev8r newbie? I have the stock e-heater kit, filled with quartz, and still having to run it at about 800. Even then it can't brown avb nearly as much as most others and I'm getting fairly thin hits no matter how I fill the bowl. I made a microdose adapter...

    Discontinued The Splinter by RBT

Same boat here. They said they might be offering repairs in a week or 2, and it would cost around $40 to fix. (But I see now they said the same thing about training the same girl in July.) I'm not spending any more money on this thing, so I tried to remove the glass by slowly heating it with a...

DDave Mod for SSV/ DBV/ LSV

I have my heating element as high up as it can go without touching the glass, dial at ~10:30, and I physically rotate the wand. I'll have to stir if I pack the screen mostly full, but around a half pack vapes the entire thing about as dark as I'd go. (Using the 14mm wand.)

DDave Mod for SSV/ DBV/ LSV

I'm still enjoying my micro mod on a daily basis, and recommend it to everyone I can. Herbal usage is at an all time low, even though I'm getting medicated more than ever. Very nice that you're including the beeswax now. I actually don't mind the adapter getting stuck anymore, though it does...

    Da Buddha

I did a little research in the past and felt safe enough to buy some decent quality pvc tubing since the hose itself doesn't get very hot. I could never find one to my liking that was less expensive than the stuff from 7th floor. I'd make sure it's rated for anything above typical vaping temps...
