Thanks all for the help with the cells. The NRC18650b looks like a winner.

    The Arizer Air

Looking For An Aftermarket Battery - Help With Safe Specs Please! I'm looking for a couple of after market batteries for my Air. While I'd love to buy an original, as I'm not in North America the least expensive one I can find is $30 shipped. I simply don't have $60 to spend on two batteries...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

You should really consider some sort of case for those batteries so they don't short out on each other or anything else. Li-ion batteries can catch on fire if shorted.

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

That's probably because the EU has strong consumer protection laws and the US doesn't.

    Chinese made products......

There is a reason middle class Chinese buy imported food if they can - they don't trust local producers. Do you think those producers making vapes for the Western market have a problem switching out solder or glues to something less safe if it increases profit? Doesn't really matter on your...

    SideKick by Elev8 Vehicles

The Sidekick is made in China, which seems relevant to this conversation.

    SideKick by Elev8 Vehicles

So owners, what do you think after using this for awhile, is it worth the $300 price tag?

    SideKick by Elev8 Vehicles

If it works better without the two main selling points (the cooling rod and the stir gizmo) aside from removable batteries (with the trade off of short runtime) what does this offer that one of the many other Chinese produced vapes on the market like the Flowermate Pro series already do for...

    Discontinued The Venus Apollo

The EU and outside EU price is the same as far as the maker is concerned as the difference is EU tax which he doesn't get.

    SideKick by Elev8 Vehicles

That would defeat the purpose of the stir mechanism, wouldn't it?

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

The high price point coupled with the need for an app could be a reason.

    SideKick by Elev8 Vehicles

That site does fake reviews, and really should be banned from FC. They have a review of the Haze Square which says how great vapor production is, yet it's still a prototype and according to Scott at Haze no one has tried it, not even the Haze folks themselves. EDIT - Seems he's changed his...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

As they seem to be positioning themselves as the Apple of vapes I highly doubt that they will dilute their premium price structure by offering upgrades. Just take a look at how tight they keep their sales and pricing structure.

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

There is nothing remotely conspiracy theory related in questioning what information a tech company is collecting about you in 2016.

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

You'd be surprised at how many people don't pay any attention to the permissions the apps they install ask for.

    Exactly.

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Most likely they are creating a profile of users (perhaps anonymously) and data mining it to monetize it. It's very common with apps that ask for unnecessary permissions. Personally I don't like that in any app, especially a paid one.

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Totally unacceptable. There is no reason for this app to need your location info. What other permissions does it ask for? I can't find it on the Play store. That site is dodgy. According to Scott as Haze no one has used their new Square vape yet, but this guy has a review up saying how...

    Discontinued Haze Square

I think that with a non user replaceble battery the price point would have to be lower than the competition with user replaceable batteries as it's essentially a disposable item for many.
