    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

I also highly recommend not messing with ISO unless u have a vac chamber. ISO works to make oil in a pinch, but in my experience it has always been subpar compared to butane or CO2 extractions made with the right equipment.

I’m jealous of your Neville’s haze @kellya86! Lots n lots of strains around where I am at, but Neville’s is a rare find. Haven’t been able to garden in a year or two, but plan to try those genetics out when I have a chance.

I’ve also wondered about oil sticking to Evo tubes and ingeneral on my dab pipes and occasionally wonder if that is also happening to my lungs. I’m curious to start testing what exactly causes that to happen. Is it a little every time or globs in certain situations? Ugh, not much ruins a day...

For anyone that has purchased the lynx kit, have you tried using a hydratube on top? Does it still hit smoothly and maintain stability? I’ve been tempted to get a hydrabase for additional filtration, but then would need an adapter kit as well. The lynx could potentially solve that and also...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

All this EVO talk has me jealous. Mine has been in the shop for nearly a month now....longer than it has been in working condition. Initially I was curious about the lynx, but am not sure how much I'd use it compared to my hydratube. I could see it being potentially safer as you could leave it...

Is that a black light on that heat shield or is it glow in the dark?

I'd recommend starting with a half gram or gram. If you haven't dabbed before, definitely stick with the grain of rice sizing...or less. A lil bit of concentrate goes a looooooong way, especially with the EVO. It's great for microdabbing!

So while I'm waiting for my EVO to be fixed, I'm back to using my analog rig, a quartz banger through a shower head perk a local glass student made for me. Sometimes I get amazingly flavorful dabs, sometimes not, which I always used to equate to temp fluctuations given that I was using a torch...

I'll have to look up this instagram video! I've been leaving it on to clean nails after using them...but usually sit within a few feet of the device and try to remember to turn it off after 5-10 minutes. I'll admit though, more often than not, it is usually automatically turned off by the time...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

It's a sad day :(. My EVO decided to shut down when cleaning a nail. Worked fine when I took a dab, then shortly after cranking it up to clean, poof. Now it won't turn on :(. The airpath looks clean, no spilled concentrates, not sure what happened. Here's to hoping for prompt support service!

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

I decided to join the Vapexhale bandwagon after talking to several trusted people in the industry while looking for a device to replace my traditional torch dab setup. This unit is quickly becoming the standard at dab bars over e-nails and while I was initially skeptical, I'm glad I made the...

    A few QWISO related questions

It could be that as well, although I've tried running material from a few different gardens and still get the same result. It's B grade trim/bud though, so that could still be it.

    A few QWISO related questions

Perhaps high heat could be part of the issue with the flavor. I'll try dabbing some at a lower temperature and see if that helps.

    A few QWISO related questions

I've been using mason jars for the initial extraction, which gets poured through a strainer into a metal bowl, which I then filter through coffee filters into drinking glasses, that ultimately get poured into a pyrex baking dish for evaporation.

    A few QWISO related questions

I've been making some QWISO lately from some year-old OD trim/bud that needs to be used up, but am running into an issue with nasty residue being left on the nail after a dab, and odd flavors. I use 99% ISO from Safeway, washes from 10-15 seconds (frozen and unfrozen), tried air, heat, and vac...

    Concentrates for Noobs - Q&A

To do CO2 effectively commercially, you need a machine that recycles CO2 and uses a pump to maintain pressure. This costs around 10-15k for a custom unit. The extraction takes a lot longer than Butane, but the post processing is much less. Vac purging CO2 is mostly to obtain the form you want...

    Tek DIY CO2 hash?

The key is extracting while maintaining pressure and ability to recycle CO2. The cheaper open systems that use heat or pumps for pressure work... but the amount of CO2 needed without recycling makes the process too expensive. Even for a home hobbyist, these open systems are not worth it. You...
