I have great results with my cimarec with a SS flat bottom chamber most of the time. Temp control is super easy with no noticeable fluctuation. I check my oil temps often with an IR gun. I've used it with a pyrex round chamber. I think the bottom is concave on that too. Seemed fine then. The...
Need to edit here.
Tried out the TS4000 tip at low flow with propane. The torch made the same squacking sound as with map gas. The TS8000 tip does not do this with either fuel at low flow.
Oil is very efficient. I did an extraction for a friend. Upon delivery my friend and another friend and I all sat down for a dab session. We got blown away. I then did the math. We all got lit off of ~.15g of starting material. Had we been smoking flowers or vaping flowers we'd have burned up at...
I used to have a Bernzomatic hand torch. Same as what they have now but it had red plastic accents not the blue they now carry in Home Depot. One day it fell off a counter and the nozzle portion broke off and was unfixable, I had just filled it too. I liked that torch. It was my July 4th fuse...
The fins are similar, but the TS4000 tip has a smaller opening. I didn't bother putting the TS8000 tip on the TS400 torch as I know what the TS8000 tip will do at full blast. I swapped the TS4000 tip onto the TS8000 head so I had flow control with that tip. I was at a buddies house and only had...
Again, your post makes 0 sense in relation to the topic. Reclaim is NOT whats left on top of the nail after an excessively large dab. Reclaim is the vapors that re-condense in the air path and drain down to the catch.
You can also reclaim all the stuff that gets trapped in water bubbler section...
This post makes no sense. LuLz whats left on your nail after the dab and gets burned off when you retorch the nail again is not reclaim and it ain't what we are talking about.
I have one of the 90 degree reclaimers by Grav. Works awesome. Before I was able to fill it I ran out of fresh concentrates and had about 2mm of reclaim in the jar. I dabbed everything in that jar until I got more concentrates. The reclaim is quite potent. I dab in the morning and at night on my...
Not talking about the silicone pads.
Pretty sure when I read the product description a while back it was teflon with the fiberglass weave similar to the pads. Could be wrong though.
I also thought I recall the sheets being much more expensive. Like double what I see now for a roll. Now i see...
Yup, before I dove into oils I began vaping with a volcano and did notice this as well, but then shortly moved on to dabbing Oils. Oil isn't bad in the volcano either, but I prefer to dab it.
I have been wanting to try the slicksheets for a while but I read a bunch of complaints about the pad breaking down and ruining product with the old version that had the fiberglass weave. I've also seen people rave about it. I'd really like to see someone post up a review of a freshly purchased...
Why would vaping\dabbing oil possibly be any more threatening to your lungs than burning flowers. When you burn flowers you get some of that very same oil, but then you also get a fuckton of burnt plant matter and shit inhaled into your lungs that is not present when dabbing oil.
I used to be...
That was in the original post. My edit was about the stinkyness of mapp\map-pro. It's all good though.
I haven't tried it but I wonder if the TS8000 tip is exchangeable with the TS4000. The TS8000 tip is a bit longer and it is wider I think. As for a replacement tip without fins, dunno. But I...
