Mine does this very occasionally, always put it down to the fact that it is set to heat and cool gently as not to stress the coil.

my heater becomes more unstable on the herb nail when there is reclaim pooled at the bottom of the heater, think it may slightly affect alignment, has this been happening from the start? Since cleaning the bottom of the heater using the cleaning function and a Ti brush I find it fits like it...
