I don't have my own crafty yet, but I've used a friend's unit several times. The short answer - this is, hands down, the best performing portable relative to it's size. S&B really outdid themselves.

Is there a comprehensive list somewhere of Android phones that support the Crafty app? Or in case someone knows if the app is combatible with a Huawei Ascend P6, do tell :).

The heating element stopped working. Changing the halogen bulb didn't work, so I emailed Ville if they'd do a maintenance check-up. Even though it's already 15 months since I bought my Venus, he still promised to fix it free of charge - he'll even comp the postage. Now _that's_ customer service :D

Yeah, the hole across the heating element (ie. opposite side of the LEDs) is the air uptake hole, it connects directly to the hose plug.

It might be that the 5-minute oil burnoff wasn't enough, and what you're seeing is vapor (from the assembly oil) and what you're tasting is definitely not bud. Very possible, when I got the Venus it took almost 15min to burn off all visible assembly oil vapor...
