What works great for me is taking an extra FLAT screen and put that on top of the herb (don't pack it tight) to make a sandwich. Now the screen of your whip will never get clogged:D

Now this is odd because I got mine back in march and it reads up to 350* but its perfect at 240*. Anything past 275* and it leaves the herb charred almost BLACK! Ive never gone over 300*for that reason, even on the wettest, stickiest of the icky. lol

I've also come to find that I have a second Gen Extreme and optimal temp is about 240. Im actually going to be trying a balloon mod tonight:D so I'll have to check back in after Im done fabricating and breaking it in.

I have had this happen too! I solved it temporarily by dropping another screen on the top of the herb. I have to take it out every few hits to stir it up. It not hard taking it out and it hits very nice, no clogging.

Also I,d like to know how many hits you guys are getting from your whips? This is only my second full bowl since I got the extreme. Usually I pack it half full since I mostly smoke by myself. Is it better to pack a little more (of course I know thats always better) or does it matter?

I can not get my bags to look like yours clear_dome. The smoke is just not nearly as think. How dry should my herbs be? Is it better dryer?

Is it ok to keep a packed bowl on the heating element if smoking periodically? Say every 10-15 mins while playing video games?

Damn, sorry to hear about your unit... but I am glad to hear you love the vape. I'm tempted to buy a volcano valve just to get a good idea or modify one if possible. Does anyone own a volcano and an extreme? I may go to a couple of hardware stores just to see what I can find.

I may try to make a valve like the volcano but simplerfor this vape. Has anyone done this? I suppose I could just plug it with something too.
