I tried doing the warranty send-in but they just wanted to give me a new Pax 1. They also reiterated that they have no upgrade and/or trade-in program. I tried my hardest to write them in the after-service review about how they need to implement something like this sooner rather than later.

If people are stirring it like they did with Pax 1 then I would suggest the nail cleaner part of a nail clipper or the foil remover of a wine/bar key. Keys can do the trick but don't have a fine enough tip to hit the corners.

I will note that Ploom themselves have said that the battery should be down to about 2-2.5 25m sessions by a year of use doing ~3 sessions a day. If you barely get one oven, 20-25m, out of it and have NOT owned it for ~3 years, then yes you have a problem.

Did a tech person on the phone/email confirm this with you? Some people have said they've gotten battery's replaced for free... but I assume that they bought it directly from Ploom versus a 3rd party "authorized" headshop.
