Yes I just got mine a little over a week ago and it took about 3-5 days before I couldn't smell or taste the "new" smell anymore. And I did about 5 burn off cycles before I loaded the first wand. Edit: I also sat my solo on top of a small fan in between uses to try to help get rid of the smell...
