Got a reply from good ol Zeki the other day. "The Liquid core has a known issue. They can rewire it the same way it has been before. I know you've sent it back a couple times before. They are going to be finishing up a new tool to laser weld the two points that fail as well as get the new wire...
I just mailed my cera back to tet for the third time. They were nice enough to email me a shipping label this time. 4th times the charm, right? I can't wait to get it back again! Hopefully it's in working order.
Just got my replacement in the mail. The ceramic plate was found within the envelope and not in the cart. Also, looks different than my last one. Should I try putting in the plate in and see if it works? Also, the cart is reading 2.7ohms when it should be .8-1ohms
I didn't feel like boiling it so I rinsed it in warm water in the sink. Couldn't find it in the garbage disposal so it might have disintegrated under the water. I didn't bother using it, just dropped it in the mail and had to grab my old Vape. Sucks to get a nice new expensive Vape only to RMA...
I sent mine back to tet. It had the same issue your reporting and through their help determined it was a defective unit. It didn't perform anything like my ava Atty. Hopefully I won't have to wait to long to find out how good it is.
Sorry for beating you up about it so much. I just wish it wasn't such a pain to find and off the shelf version that would mount up without issue. One day I'll find it.....
I cant seem to find a 5A DC 19mm planel mount switch. Atleast I couldn't find one and I've been searching the entire night. Back on page 49, Tim stated "For those of you who want to tinker on your Cera, the switch is a 19mm Panel mount, minimum 2Amp @ 36V, and no longer than 27MM." There was no...
I was think of building a lacthing switch for the bottom using this: http://www.sourcingmap.com/19mm-hole-latching-metal-flat-push-button-switch-pin-p-230956.html. I'd make it the same way that TET hopefully would so that it all screws into the end cap, but I'd make the spring shorter. The small...
Does anyone have some insider info on the part number for the momentary switch that's in the cera. I've got an idea on a side on/off momentary switch, just need to to find a similar latching switch for the bottom.
No change, still pretty weak on the vapor. I boiled the core this morning when I got home. Seemed to "cook" it better at the start but getting worse during the break in period. All I have is the gl cart, so if anyone in Denver co wants to try my cera body with their cart just to rule that out...
I'll give it a shot at work tonight. If it's still acting up by morning and thermovape hasn't emailed me back, I'll give it a good boil tomorrow Afternoon. Maybe that will make it work right.
