Basically, I've read that when the solo is turned on the LED's flash to indicate the remaining charge, like according to the 7 numbers. My unit always flashes a 7. I'm wondering if other M1A owners experience this.

Grassman, I assume you've got an M1A model. Does yours indicate the remaining charge on the battery when you fire it up? I just got mine (big ups tp PIU!) and I kept seeing 7 and thought wow, this battery really is tank, but then the charge light came on. I did notice a couple other members...
