vaporbaron I have the same issue as you. The solution, unfortunately, is to use the LSV without the ventilation section screwed on to protect the heater cover. And same as VAPORIZER22, while my WPA will get warm, it certainly doesn't get uncomfortably warm or hot.

Yes, I did of course unscrew the very top piece. The edge of the male spherical joint is just too close to the HC section for comfort (for me at least). It makes contact with the WPA too much, and only on the side that the HC is leaning towards.
