Some prick bumped my table that my turntables were on and it hit the side of the case I keep my decks in. It had taken a tumble from 6 inches above onto carpet several times before this though (stupid all carpet apartment... can't isolate anything from vibrations).
It's a lovely glass piece...
Hello FC
I recently broke my Evolver HydraCirc HT and am not feeling well. I'm about to send in my first piece to Sam of GBG and his holy company since it's a simple broken elbow and I hope it can be fixed. I'm generally a careful person but I live in a tiny room in a tiny apartment so...
Funny, I was thinking about this an hour ago.
Evidence is going to be hard to come by (at least scientific evidence). However, I like your idea of the Gnome vs. pipe.
Some questions I'd be curious about:
Are the heat-up times the same?
-a lighter flame directly applied to glass vs heated...
You're welcome!
(thanks Puffer, I forgot about application-specific uses)
After some more thought, I think it's worth mentioning glycerin/propylene glycol (G/PG for abbreviation) in relation to solvents. I imagine that if you grow your own and don't want to work with isopropyl/butane/hexane...
It depends on what you want to get out of the work.
Do you want maximized flavor?
How important is potency?
Do you want a smooth hit you can't differentiate from a normal breath of air or do you like a bit of harshness?
(There are a few more questions to ask but I want the more experienced...
What size mason jar are you using? Do you purge with the pad in the jar? I've been thinking of doing something like this for a week or so and I'd be glad to hear if you have tried this.
With potentially better absorption of more humid vapor, perhaps it feels more potent because you're speeding up cerebral vasodilation?
More absorption --> Faster cerebral vasodilation --> Feeling that is stronger than normal
I can't back any of this up with my level of knowledge on the...
I too highly recommend the OilSlick pad but I've only used it with isopropyl extractions. Anyone have a particular container they could recommend for a large pad (the non-DUO one)? My current pyrex dish isn't working out too well in terms of heat absorption.
But what about the solvent listings? I'm guessing Puffers was being sarcastic but right about not being able to label what solvents were used to make concentrates since it's illegal in CA?
As someone in a non-MMJ friendly/still criminalized state, I'm very curious when it comes to other states and how dispensaries operate.
Is there a preponderance of shops that use "test results" as a selling point, or is it limited to a select few that even mention "testing" in their displays...
Babemomlover,
Thank you very much for the reply. I've been away from technology for a few weeks for reasons not of my own that I'd rather not discuss here, and so I apologize for the lateness of my reply.
With the equation I've found the (theoretically sustainable) boiling point, but I've...
Hello FC!
I've lurked for a while and decided to join today since I've got a question I can't answer with my level of knowledge.
So I have a basic grasp of chemistry (emphasis on basic) but I'm having trouble calculating boiling points of isopropyl alcohol under a vacuum.
I know it's 82.5℃...
