Nah SeaTac in Seattle has been letting people do this for years. I don't hide any of my stuff anymore and I have a notice from the TSA that they looked at it almost every time.

Does anyone know what the size of the INJECTOR piece is? I know the bowl is a 18mm joint but is the injector portion some special size or is it a large standard? I'm thinking about having something custom made for the injector bowl but I need to know the size.

Well my injector died on me as well - the webpage says the element should be good for 10+ years! I think I have had it for maaaybe a year. MichMartin - how do you tell if its the converter or the injector? The LED light still comes on when I plug it all in - just no heat anymore.

Yea I've had it for almost a year now - never cleaned the heating element once (but do clean the other glass quite often). Just wondering if that it going to affect longevity one way or another - the heating element has been making that high-pitched buzzing sound that some others have written...

hey yall do you clean the injector portion the same way as the rest of the glass? I wasn't sure if it was cool to soak the heating element in iso for a length of time or anything. thx
