They're doing the same thing with the regular picks too. I just received one last week (marble type) and it doesn't fit in the wand either. The one that came with my Da Buddha did, but not this new one. Sucks, because I like to use it for tamping. Oh well, c'est la vie.

I only grind, for the most part, only what I'm going to use for that session, although many times there are left overs.

Mine is that color also. Kind of a purple/brownish color. In most of the pictures you see online, they look black, which is why I think a lot of people call it the "black" Space Case. I was surprised when I first opened it; I was like "what the...?", because I thought it was going to be black...
