Same thing happened to me. Two weeks after I got a new bamboo it broke - same issue with the crackling noises too. I sent it in on Friday to be re-repaired. VXL paid for the shipping this time.
Just want to report on a positive experience with VapeX customer service. When I opened a ticket Brianne was very helpful and courteous. I sent my Evo in last Thursday to repair a broken bamboo and it just arrived it back today (the following Friday) good as new.
I thought I would be looking...
Following up with the issue quoted above, I just tried blowing air through my bamboo while covering the intake at the bottom and it seems the problem was a broken bamboo all along... which is funny because I've treated my EVO so gingerly (though i'm kind of a clutz I've managed never to drop it...
Interesting. I've had some of the same symptoms over the last couple of days. On Friday I had the same issue with the green light but it hasn't happened since.
I also combusted twice recently (like you the evo was at around 3 for a couple of hours). In one case, the elb may have been...
Sounds like you're talking about that burned popcorn taste. I don't think you'd have much doubt if you were getting smoke instead of vapor. I didn't think it was possible but I just combusted last night. Had my Evo cranked to max for a couple of hours before taking a pretty hard pull on an...
This happened to me when I first unboxed my Evo. It was very cold and apparently needed to warm up a little before use. After 10 or 15 minutes inside it worked without a hitch and I haven't had the problem since.
My evo does flicker when it's reaching the target temp, but that's not what was happening the first time I turned it on. It was just a red light blinking every couple of seconds and no heat. No harm, it's worked great ever since.
I love that I can get a couple of great clouds with just .05 g...
I've been lurking for a while but haven't posted since October '12. Just posted about my new evo and thought I'd drop in here. anyway i've had mine since September 2012 and it's been great. no problems at all (though I still think my unit runs a little cool) and I'm on my 3rd capsule. :)
Me and my new evo got off to a bit of a rocky start today. Fed Ex left it at my door (I was home so was no problem) and when I took it out of the box it felt about 10 degrees (air temp). But, after reading on this thread that someone leaves theirs in the shed 24-7 I figured I'd plug it in and...
Thanks! (I feel a little less weird now).
When I feel like the capsule is kicked I've been using a wooden kabob skewer and carefully crushing the herb while still in the capsule. That gives me one or two more pulls, but probably isn't necessary if you've ground the stuff finely enough in the...
 I'm with you brother. I was browsing around in some of the glass forums because I've been thinking about getting a new bubbler and... whoa. I was reading about shower heads and thought i wandered in to the home depot forum. ahhh progress. makes me feel old.
You're probably right about the membranes and all, but my curiosity got the best of me and i just stuck it up there anyway. Probably not for everyone I guess.... i was in Tenerife a while back and saw a guy chug a bunch of Guinesses through his nose and I thought he was crazy.
It definitely...
i just tried vaporizing through my nose for the first time. has anyone else tried this? wasn't half bad actually - just don't do it when the mouthpiece starts to warm up.
I had no problem fitting .2 of one strain without packing it tight but not another. The one that fit was denser and probably better cured - though a weaker strain. That said I think i probably need a better grinder.
I have a couple of cheap ones - the one I'm using now is a metal 4 piece...
I'm an idiot. My Inh is pretty awesome, I just wasn't using enough flowers for the effect I was looking for. I actually discovered it when i got some nice clouds on 6 after deciding (for the hell of it) to try a little of the crappy stuff i had left over in an old grinder i before i sent it back...
Thanks! That convinced me to send mine back to the manufacturer for a free inspection; there must be something wrong with it. I was never crazy about the volcano - didn't love the bags and was never able to get a a single hit that was big enough for my taste without loading the chamber - and...
in terms of cloud size (ONLY) i guess the supreme is kind of hard to match for any battery-operated portable. but even with a working temp gauge, the Supreme had too many negatives for me to use it often. I know it's not really possible to compare a bag vape, but would you say the Inh is...
Ok. I think I've finally just about decided to send my Inhalater to the manufacturer to inspect whether the temp may not be calibrated correctly but before I do so any advice would be appreciated... I decided to email the manufacturer about the possibility that my unit might be running cold and...
