    How many TRUE combustion-fuckers?

I got my first dry herb vape about 8 years ago. I immediately preferred over combustion, and have been combustion free ever since.

Discontinued The NEO by Prrl Labs

It’s this one: https://famousbrandz.com/collections/hand-pipes/products/rock-legends-jimi-love-sherlock-pipe-clear-6-in The only problem is that the holes in the honeycomb screen are too small, and get clogged easily. It’s better than a single-hole bowl, but still not quite ideal.

Discontinued The NEO by Prrl Labs

I found this piece that pairs very nicely with the Neo. I was looking for something with very specific attributes. Something sturdy and stable, that can be set down on a table without tipping over. I wanted a built-in honeycomb screen for increased airflow. I wanted a stem long enough to create...

Funny. I also Googled Benson pipe. There’s actually a manufacturer of some kind of musical instrument that popped up. Kind of like bagpipes, but not exactly the same.

No. My goal is to have an all glass air path, for purity of flavour. I tried a different bowl last night. It has a flower screen, and much better airflow. The diameter is smaller than the Neo’s chimney, but the silicone sleeve fit over the outside of it, making an effective seal. It worked...

Discontinued The NEO by Prrl Labs

The biggest issue I’m having is the airflow with my bowl. It has a single, small hole in the bottom, which gets plugged up quickly. The other bowls I have on hand aren’t big enough to mate well with the Neo.

Discontinued The NEO by Prrl Labs

I’ve had a couple more sessions with the Neo. I’ve been using a Sticky Brick Jr. as my daily driver for a few years, so I’m very much accustomed to using draw speed to regulate temperature. This is helping my technique to improve quickly. I’m having a lot of fun with it. I like the form...

Discontinued The NEO by Prrl Labs

My Neo arrived today! Had a successful first test. My technique needs work, but I was able to get a pretty complete extraction on my first try. Here is what I used: https://ibb.co/gRZ2zfC

How does the flavour hold out throughout your session? Is it a fairly complete extraction? How does your ABV look by the end? (A pic would be great!)

I’ve seen nitecore chargers. Do they make batteries as well?

Discontinued The NEO by Prrl Labs

Hi! I recently ordered a Neo and am preparing for its arrival, sometime next month. I have zero experience with 18650 batteries, or devices powered by them. Never used a mod before. I’d like to get a spare battery and a charger, but I have no idea what I should be looking for. Can anyone...

    How many TRUE combustion-fuckers?

I got my first vape (1st gen. Pax) in January of 2013. Haven’t combusted since (except for a couple of accidents while learning to use my DynaVap M and my Sticky Brick Jr.). In Dec. of 2014, I replaced the Pax with a Crafty. The Crafty was replaced under warranty in the fall of 2016, and the...

    Crafty/Crafty+ by Storz & Bickel

A while back, in this thread, someone posted a source (in the US), for replacement screens and O rings. It was some kind of industrial supply company. The prices were much lower than the official replacements found in vape shops or from S&B. Just wondering if anyone has ever found a similar...

Sticky Brick Junior by Sticky Brick Labs

I’m happy to report that I had a nice session tonight. Beginning to get the hang of it. Nice clouds, even vape, no combustion. Really beginning to enjoy this Brick! Thanks to all of you for the great advice!

Sticky Brick Junior by Sticky Brick Labs

Thanks for all of the tips! I neglected to describe my use of the carb. I’ve been keeping it covered the whole time, just releasing it at the end of a hit to clear the unit and cool the material. I guess I just need more practice. I typically have just one session a day, so I don’t get to...

Sticky Brick Junior by Sticky Brick Labs

I’ve played around with flame length. Some of the videos show a very small flame being used. I started with that, but wasn’t getting any vapor. Increased it to the recommended 1” or so. I can get vapor sometimes with a longer flame, but now combustion is a problem too. Trying to use the...

Sticky Brick Junior by Sticky Brick Labs

I received my Walnut Jr. I’m having quite a bit of trouble with the technique. Still struggling between no vapor at all versus combustion. I can’t recall who it was, but thanks to whichever member described the sound you get when you have proper heating going on. This is helping and I am...

Can I ask why you put a washer in there? I’m just wondering if the washer absorbs a lot of heat. I have an SBJ on the way (EXCITED!). My only other experience with a butane vape is with my DynaVap M. I’m thinking I will do this mod by adding an extra screen below the intake to help with...
