As I mentioned in the original comparison: I am a very lazy person. The other night I was chatting with someone online and I remarked that it was time to clean out the bowl on the Volcano but I was too lazy to do so. Then I remembered that "cleaning the bowl" on the Volcano means tipping the ABV into a jar and maybe brushing the screen for 5 seconds.
This is exactly the sort of indolence that the Volcano engenders.
You, dear reader, may not be as lazy as I am. However, if you are as lazy (or *gasp* lazier?!) you should just get a Volcano.
The EVO is the best for giant flavorful clouds and dabbing. Pulling a massive cloud through a hydratube is deeply satisfying in a way no other vape can match.
The Underdog is economical, beautiful, and is tied for best flavor with the EVO. It will conserve you herb because the load size is smaller. It's also the simplest to load and very easy to clean.
That said the Volcano still wins for me. Not because of excellent flavor (the others have better flavor, the Volcano can have a hint of plastic at max heat). Not because it conserves material (the others do a better job of this). Using a balloon to vape with a large bowl means that I'll usually load the bowl until it's full and inflate each balloon to the max too. This is not conducive to conservation even though I'm using that same bowl for a week or two. And it's noisy too.
But the cleaning.
Not that the Underdog is hard to clean. I could spend two minutes a week cleaning it and it would look brand new until it died.
But the Volcano takes me about 30 seconds a month to clean. Is that extra time really worth the price tag? No. But so long as the Volcano works and I'm not short on money for herb I'll keep using it.
Otherwise, the Underdog comes out of storage.
