Does this vaporizer hook up to water?

WAKE & VAKE + FRENCH ROAST + FRENCH WIFE = CIVILIZED
Hydrabrick with 18mm joint is coming soon. Look at stickybricklabs.com or the first page of this thread for pics. There are also ways to rig it to water on your own. The daisy thread has a few solutions, they all require a whip I believe. It is a very simple concept and I'm sure you could hook it up to water with some thought. I really don't think you need to though. this thing is smooth. Like the smoothest pulling vape I've hit other than the sublimator. That's saying something for me as I have asthma and usually can't handle a dry vape. So it's nice using this one dry for me. That being said I will be buying the hydrabrick attachment as soon as it comes out   I love my glass too much. And especially my hydratubes!!

Since I got the brick, I've only used this and the Mighty... The heat-up time and effects are amazing! The taste falls short when compared to the EVO or SV3, however if I want to get medicated quickly... nothing beats the Brick! I feel like I haven't found my personal sweet spot yet and every session/draw is getting better and better.

Ok, I'll try to keep it concise, but I know I'll be rambling and giving all my thoughts, I feel like I've had a decent amount of time with it, it's all I've been using the last day+ other than my Omicron when I went out.... TLDR The Sticky Brick is awesome, you all should buy one :)

The brick itself is beautiful, awesome craftsmanship, solid, feels great in hand! My preferred setup is short side in the brick, and with the Intake at Noon, the mouthpiece is facing 5 o clock. This is nice cause I always light with my right hand, keeps it further away from me, good setup!

The glass as mentioned is thick as fuck. Like really really thick. I was so worried when it slipped but it looks like nothing happened at all. You can feel the heft in it. This is awesome!

Also, I have big clunky fingers :) O rings on things always annoy the piss out of me. You get them in the slot, and then when you push it through whatever it just falls out the groove....more a personal problem :p it happens all time when reassembling my Vapcap or AC, but I really appreacite the big thick o Rings, and I ALSO LOVE the fact that you made the tops on all your holes bigger than whats going in, with a resting ledge for the O ring. Made reassembling a breeze.

My first session, I took it apart and looked down the shoots, used a paper clip cause I could see a bit of rough wood hanging around, kicked that out. First few sessions did see little embers inside, figured this was that rough wood just getting a little burnt or cleared out, didn't affect the taste at all really, BUT I think I am one of those people with a sensitive pallet. You can get nice tasty low temp hits on this, and you can definitely taste the differences in strains, but its mixed with the taste of wood/vapor resin on wood. I find this taste in damn near all my wooden things, between stems and the vapman. I even can kind of residual taste it I feel sometimes just from the hot air of my logs on other stems......this isn't a bad thing to me, I find the smell/taste/aroma of wood to be very pleasant. But it should be noted. I also find it more after id combust in it, that it makes it that woody/weed taste more, as my first few sessions were really tasteful but heavily mixed with Walnut. Like I said, I have a great nose and probably an over sensitive pallet in that regard, I can definitely taste strain differences between that woody taste, but I notice the same taste I get on my Vapman kinda. Hard to describe, I'm a few SB's in :) Just for me, I can get good low temp hits on it, and they taste great and like tree, and I can get good high temp hits on it, and they taste great and like tree, but I always notice the wood as well, but I love it and also expected it.

I like the torch that came with it alot! But, my ronson butane won't fill it up? Think the nozzle is wrong. Will buy some Bernzomatic somewhere.

That said, I like my Ronson heatgun on low the most. I think I also overtorched because it was harder for me to tell the temp with the smaller lighter. The heatgun on low, is still pretty fucking hot. But, I can breath slower or faster or pull away etc and just harness that heat easier because I know its fucking hot. Was able to go high temp and low temp with it IMO. It's my preferred torch with the Lotus too for that reason.

The AVB looks pure convection golden nothing too too black, haven't been able to get it to a coffee dark but color is not indicative of anything really. When I had the screen up higher, hot spots (char) were an issue kind of, not so with it resting on the bottom. And yeah, I wasn't sure where the screen was supposed to go...I have a lip like a centimeter in the bowl that looks like a screen could feasibly rest in it (and the screen kinda was already there), so I tried it there, then halfway lower, then very bottom. Have it now on the very bottom :)

I throw a pinch or two in. I like the big bowl, just hard to see, love the tweezers for that! And to stir!

This was my second use of the Ronson Torch, got another 2-3 hits out of it!

I'm dainty with it, don't want to get heavy handed

Very much love this thing! Gonna keep using it!! Cheers Brick Squad!

Oh shit, I totally forgot, this thing is such a fast vape , in terms of going from 0-extraction, and I love it alot for that! When I go butane, that's what I'm looking for, I find most all of them can't really do it (the Vapcap heats up quick but I always get quite a few cycles)

Edit: with regards to taste, I'm using Sour Lemon right now, first two hits actually tasted nothing like wood at all lol, idk? Maybe the buds I were using earlier just had a more woody taste with em. I'm milking it up thick too :)

By the way, love the logo, think it looks slick, also love that mine doesn't have one :)

I've been watching Stranger Things on Netflix today while using my Sticky Brick. It occurred to me that the brick could have easily existed back in that era, the early 80's. You can't say that about most vaporizers.

Even the design of the brick would have fit in back then because it has a simple elegance to it. Truly a timeless piece!

I'm glad you like it man, change torches or adjust higher to get higher temp hits. I wasn't able to get my abv coffee brown like my EVO until yesterday when I started using a small double touch then a larger one set low. compared to the eagle torch it is much easier to get high temp extraction with dark abv. I think the eagle is kinda for lower temp and is almost impossible to combust with(once you know how this thing works lol)

I 100% agree with your opinions of the brick. This thing is super effective and hard hitting. Faster to use than any other vape I have and it also produces just as well as any vape I have. The only thing that is a little less than some is the taste. I can taste walnut with mine too, but it's going away more and more. I can tell the difference between strains. Today was even better than last night. I had northern lights #5 last night and then switch to blue dragon this morning and yep.. Blueberry/diesel taste comes through strong, but so does the walnut.

I'm ok with this because I too was expecting it, but I sure hope it goes away. This thing has some pretty pure flavor, the wood just gets in the way a bit. The brick should fit well in to anyone's vape collection. Super big and effective hits, also fast medication, all in a super simple yet beautiful package.

Cheers FC
Stay vaped :peace::leaf:

I think it went away on mine, I purposefully used the most tasteful stuff so I could cost the wood with that sticky :)

I'm mastering the Ronson, i have had much better results, hard hitting strong high temp hits, darker avb too. I'm learning the edge that I can push it too lol, the high temp torch is nice for noobs too I just tell them to be extra light handed....all have loved it! They are vapor noobs too combusters except with me lol, but very easy to teach and very easy for them to get nice pulls!

Forgot to mention, this thing is FUN! I love the user interaction lol, I love being able I just pop and elb and roast too but the SB is fun to use and it's literally the only thing I've used or plan on using for the next few days. I'm honeymooning :) but I think it will hold itself a high place in my rotation

Sorry i haven't been in here more to talk about how much i like the Sticky. New work schedule has been calling for a lot of hrs.

Great vape. A little bigger than Daisy when put side by side. Functionally almost exactly the same with possibly slightly cooler vapor from Sticky with the longer vapor path. But so close really unoticable. Love the magnet for tweezers too. A nice touch.

As @Slow Draw McGraw pointed out, a 14mm male will fit into the intake hole. What does everyone think about us offering a 14mm stem to hang a dropdown/honey bucket from? Should we offer just the 14mm and you bring your own nail/bucket, or should it be the entire setup? Any other suggestions as far as concentrate glass for the Brick?

That sounds good. I would suggest making an infuser tube to put nuggs in, and let the oil pass over fresh flowers before going in your lungs.

It would really make the buds sticky over time, cut down waste and increase flavor.

This thing produces hits that are almost unbelievable. Several times now I've had to check the load to make sure nothing had combusted. Had to sit it aside last night after a particularly effective hit. Just giant, tasty clouds. I'm only on my fourth bowl with it, but the walnut flavor is mostly gone already.

I'd put it right up there with my Woody Vapcap and two-tone Vapman on looks, too. Nicely finished and with the brand. The glass is also crazy solid. I'm pretty sure the mouthpiece could be used as a hammer in a pinch.

Maybe it's my torch or something... my throat's been really irritating/itching after using the Brick over the weekend. It could be a coincidence, however my friends all said the same thing (it irritated their throats and none of my other vapes do that to them). Could it be the torch I'm using (Bernzomatic ST2200T)? I've combusted a couple of times with this torch because it's so God damn strong, however I think I found the right distance for the flame. I get paranoid sometimes thinking I'm sucking in all the butane and that is what's making my throat hurt. Can someone educate me and stop me from being paranoid? lol

Try using a different torch to eliminate one thing at least.

Can you describe how you are using your sticky brick? Examples: two hit extraction, one hit every couple minutes, only in group setting, multitudious vaping, back to back bowls, ect.

Is it possible someone of your friends had a f*cking throat virus/bacteria and shared with all of you through the SB mouthpiece?

For security/paranoid side : you are breathing butane fumes all the time you are coocking if you have a gaz kitchen
About irritating: for what I know I expected it to be less irritating than all convectives vapes since buthane produces water vapor while burning

but I have not tryed it yet

I'm going to purchase another torch after work and hopefully that was the case.

I put about 0.2 grams in the Brick and finish the bowl in about 4-5 hits (draw for no longer than 5 seconds) with a stir every hit or two. I take one hit every 30 second or so (more if I wasn't satisfied with my previous draw). On occasion, I might do back to back bowls of 0.2 grams and get a little too high sometimes. I typically vape by myself and none of my friends have any throat infection that I know of.

Another question. I typically point the torch directly into the glass tube and it seems to work best with I get it close and hover around the center. Do you guys point the flame directly into the glass tube or do you point it away?

The traditional way is to point the flame directly down the intake.

The flame doesn't need to be too high, just listen for a faint whistle.

Shortly after that cool clouds will follow.

I used to get dry cracked lips and an irritated throat from the lily, if I used it dry and applied a high amount of heat.

I find that the flame has to allow air to enter the tube and if you hold it directly over the intake it seems to block the suction . I always have to find the milk spot with my torch which seems to be at an angle and a few millimeters above the port.
With my currently damp herb it seems that the first hit is all terpenes and very little clouds while the following hits are much more cloudy .
Practice, practice, practice

@shaolinmilk if the torch came prefilled you might want to consider draining it and filling it with 5x (or more) refined butane. There is no way to know what quality was in your torch and that could be one possibility to eliminate. Let us know if you continue to have a problem.

@WakeAndVape loved that video, cracking me up. Incidentally, when we are ready to release the HydroBrick it will ship with a few corks to cover the carb if you so choose.
For the 14mm infuser... It made me wonder about loosely filling the bowl and just leaving it for awhile while using a nail/honey bucket.

@StickyBricks the reason why I say an infuser is because it gives you the option to put the herbs right under the source.

VS having to travel through glass, them metal then wood then material.

With the way oil behaves (in my experience)
It's likely to pool right under the glass banger or nail and where it will make the connection with the wood.

While the bowl area will work somewhat...it's not prime real estate.

The closer to the nail = a cleaner overall unit.
