Almost there...
I would love to order a Zion but just my luck, I live in Canada. Shares borders with the States but cannot ship the Zion here from the States...
PlanetVape has ZERO stock so just have to wait... And now with no time line this almost seems like a pointless wait...

Without reading all the way back, what was the idea with no shipping to Canada??
I can buy almost anything else from the States and get it shipped here easily.

If @RastaBuddhaTao changes to allow shipping to Canada, that would be so awesome!!!

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeze????

There are zero stock anywhere. The Zion isn't released yet and is effectively still in development. When it is available, PV will have them.

@TeeJay1952 Even before that, no international shipping...

Yeah only at the very beginning. Someone was able to sneak in a Milaana pre order internationally after the fact though, you can try and hope for the best if you want to give money now, wait and see, or just email first to ask for an exception. Don't think you'll get any official rulings here from the company

I was super close to having my Zion, I had already gotten a pre-ship notice so I would say I was safely within the first 5 orders.

While it's been a bummer having Zion in limbo I have thoroughly enjoyed the Milaana. I ordered a second one and will be sending my first in for warranty work (my glass and wood bottom came loose, but only after a 12 foot fall from a deck with me on top of it, no fault of the device).

I have not communicated a ton with Ryan, but he's been really good to interact with and I will continue to hang out for the Zion and TOD.

I feel for the first three that had to send their units back, perhaps I would be more upset if I actually held a unit in my hands that was DOA (like the Grasshopper), but I only look to the Zion with eager anticipation right now, not with any angst.

I hope those requesting refunds recieve them quickly, and that those sticking it out will find the reward all the sweeter.
I was one of the ones who had to send theirs back. Actually I think that several zions went out and those who received them had no problems. The 3 of us were part of the first list of 20 but not necessarily the first 3. That means that at least 10 or more had no problems.
Anyway, I love my milaana and since my zion didn't work I don't know what I'm missing. I can wait for the zion. I might have a different attitude if I didn't have a milaana though.
I wonder if Ryan is going to work on the double version of Milaana after the zion is caught up.

Uh, I've made the same request about three times already dude.

The last time was actually a few posts before yours......if you haven't already seen it.....and if you had....and still proceeded with your "me too post"....then I wish you all the luck you deserve.

But I'm not going to get into any bidding war with you though .....that isn't my style anymore than it would be for me to figuratively be jumping up and down waving my hands around in a post and yelling "Pick me, pick me.....I'll pay more" .....because I wouldn't.

But seeing how I haven't had any response myself to the three similar posts....I think that you will be SOL

Perhaps I will email Ryan and explain the situation....since I should have actually been able to have made a purchase when the preorders were still available for purchase but was not able to.....through no fault of my own....and if no luck there....then I foresee a Sticky Brick in my future instead of a Zion

Get over yourself dude, you dont have a monopoly on making that request just because you did it first. First off, how am i suppose to know someone didnt already PM you? Second, no one said they were going to get in a bidding war with you, if someone HAPPENED to say something in the forum posts then i would have gladly stepped aside until someone else came along to do it again but youre too self-centered this has slipped your mind. If you're really offended by someone saying "me too" then grow a pair. I made no insinuation that i was willing to outbid you or was trying to compete with anyone. Btw I would have offer them extra money on top of their preorder no matter what because its the courteous thing to do, not to "outbid" you, which i said wasnt even an issue.

@Stu Sorry, i didnt know that was the rules, i just saw another member post a similar message so i thought it would be OK but understand

THANK YOU @RastaBuddhaTao, @thekarmawhore, and all the beta testers! Great idea @IAmKrazy2! Special thanks to @Shit Snacks for the hint!:tup::tup:

I've wanted to get a battery-powered vape back into my lineup for some time now, and I'm INCREDIBLY PUMPED that it'll be a Zion - love that it's convection and that it uses standard connections and batteries. This has definitely been one of my favorite threads to lurk with all the rave reviews, positive energy, and frequent updates :D:D:D

@snackmaster Just wanted to let ya know we didn't forget about you. Do to the delay with the Zion we are offering Milaana packages now or you can hand tight for your Zion. Please email customer service at rbtvape.service@gmail.com and we can work out the details.

Thanks to all the Zionites that are hanging tight with us. We appreciate the patience, support, and vow that we will keep on driving the Zion train.

Nailed it... Nirvana... Our line of concentrate devices. Stray tuned and @1_gr8_underdog will give you the first review... Bad news is we need to First... fly-on Zion

Glueless gal on her way to the oven... One cycle, so far so good. Man gotta say that really made me smile :)

Hey @1_gr8_underdog ... Well, Guess the concentrate unit is on the other side of Zion so... we are offering Milaana packages for contest winners rather than wait for the Zion. Please shoot an email to rbtvape.service@gmail.com so that we can sort out the details.

Edit: Sorry for the double post. Please combine.

I was thinking that there was one other contest ??? but I can't seem to find it. If I have missed anyone who was one a contest or just has a question please contact us through our CS channels.

Again, thanks to all for the support and patience... Stay Up!

And I'm back. Seems that I had the good fortune of winning VegNVape's awesome photo hunt contest, and I am opting to wait for the Zion. Love the Mi, what I tried of it before I broke it at least, so it was a hard choice between taking a second one as a backup now or waiting on a Zion. After trying the Mi, though, I know that I'm going to love the Zion, too, and I love me some variety. So I'm back at the end of the line again, and while I'm very happy with how things have worked out, I do feel a bit guilty for ever dropping out. The RBT vapes are the real deal, and hopefully the fact that I know that now will make the wait a bit easier.

Great choice Doc. I for one hate waiting. It's a total mother fucker. Especially when you're waiting on somthing that's works as good as the Zion does.

But.... If we have to wait, which we do,then we might as well make it as pleasant and fun as we can. If we can stay lifted enough to keep smiling and laughing and joking then this really will be a fun place to hang out and time will fly.

It will be challenging because some people can't stand to see other enjoying themselves. Especially in "tough" times(I'm being a little dramatic).
I'm not going to lie I have almost dreaded to look into this thread this past year or so. But not any more. I'm going to keep my positive vibes no matter who wants to sour it.

As it's been stated before are these the end all vapes for everyone. Hell no. But they work as advertised and that's all I'm asking for.

Still my primary vape, and I'm still working an early beta. As RBT gets closer to getting the Zion Train moving again my excitement starts to rise. But I can wait as I have Venus and Bam Bam. They may be beta, but they ROCK.

For direct draw the Zion really is king IMO. It still is my go to vape at home for direct draw sitting next to the Hebalizer, Grasshopper, Milaana, and others.

All i can do is praise the actual function and vapor quality of this vape.

I know that you are also a Daisy/Sticky Brick fan as well.....and I've heard awesome things about that vape for direct draw use and was wondering how the vapour quality compares between the two vapes....and if they are comparable .....except for the battery/heater vs torch heat source?

They are, I actually made the first Daisy/Lily comparisons way back when, since the Zion signature was a bit next level from my log/FF/elevape, something uniquely full bodied like (now) StickyBrick tech. Zion ofcourse regulated so really they're nore like Milaana now more manual, and the signature is still a bit stronger there from nature of the flame, but Zion massive surface area heater and the way it is arranged is something special as a power source too... Those torch vapes are all faster, and especially unique in effect, but I still feel comfortable saying the Zion signature is as close as battery powered gets (feels more analog than digital just like those)

It is hard to beat a Daisy or Sticky in speed or vapor production in a pure convection format. But i feel like the Zion is a lot like a battery poweres Daisy/SB.

I personally never had a lot of success using nug chunks in the SB, but i know others do. I love just a nug stuffed in the stem of the Zion unground. I prefer the taste and vapor quality of the Zion, nut the SB is probably a smidge quicker and also has a ton of power, maybe more then the Zion, but with less ability to vaporize through a whole nug.

Edit. P.S. comparisons like this are tough

That's quite a :worms: @cybrguy, I know you don't have one but vapor quality is tops with those units, no butane exhaust issues at all since flame burns it up (whereas Hammer I couldn't keep the exhaust smell from polluting my experience, requiresa bit more inhale technique to manage there). But yes always a general butane vs battery point ;)

@IAmKrazy2 I honestly haven't had as much success with either at whole nugs, I used to do that in my Firefly a lot really well, but no other vape has been quite as good at it in my experience yet. Daisy did do well with big chunks, and Zion/Milaana my issue is the right size nug for the stems maybe, or screen placement etc. I'm sure I could get it well with more practice bc its better than FF in every basically other way ofcourse

My Zion is definitely a nug muncher. No doubt about that.

I set my bowl size to just a few millimeters deep, tear off a chunk and cram it in hard to form a puck. Then I vape it up till side A is played out, pull it, flip the little bugger to the B side, shove it back in and get skankin' to the dub remix.

This technique is so damn easy for when I'm on the go - no ground material, no stirring, and no real chance of makimg a mess. Just fine unadulterated flavour and of course some good ol' Zion cloudage.

I find that keeping the load space shallow allows for a ruthlessly heavy cram without over restricting the airflow. And another bonus is that nugs keep my baskets clean and flowing free for much longer . . .

So I say nice one Vyv! You're the fuckin' Don!

At this point all I can do is laugh when folks say this. Is this the new meme along with 10% combustion???.....

Yeah, I hear ya and not trying to knock science, but I still don't feel comfortable with it. And, with so many other great vape options this has prevented me from trying any of them. Know many others who said the same about bic lighters for years - whether for lighting cigs or one hitters. Funny enough, one is the same person who tried to show me how dirty snow is now because when you melt it with lighter it turns black! But, that's another story.

Point is, I'm fine with butane jet on a lotus, vapcap, vapman or others. Heating THEN hitting I'm fine with. But, would rather not be sucking the end of that flame into my lungs. I know it is probably safe, as everything is burned. But it bothers me & why worry about it?
