I almost just bought this, but the wife pointed something out. I don't know how to use it and really don't understand how it would work! Its a Mobius! Does any of that really even matter!!! Im hesitant because they recommend 800 degrees! Not sure I want to Vape at that high of a Temp. Sounds Combustible. Also don't want to run the nail at 800 sounds like a strain on the coil. Any ones opinion on these thoughts will be valued thanks!!

800°F may be the coil t°, not the vaporization t°....I think.

Any idea about the price they want....?
Thanks, I still don't want my coil at 800!! They Want $200 for the piece though
Looks like a similar concept to Errlectric's Herb nail...with a little more glass to break...looks really nice tho.
I notice DNAIL has one too. Breakable ain't what I want

I did indeed break my bowl on the Herb Nail by being careless. But to replace it was only $60. The money is in the coils with Errlectric. When using my Herbnail, I set the temp to around 750-800 and never see the coil go red. The vapor is true convection with this basic design. Very tasty. I think I will put the Evo down and heat up the Herbnail.

I run my HerbNail at 550 and hit it for 15-20 mins. I've cracked one herbnail but it's still usable. The replacement is at a very reasonable price. This piece here looks interesting but too much glass for a group event or with friends to me. Now just me vs the Möbius could be a different story (but not for $200)

Maybe that top piece gets removed and heated with a torch and placed over the bud in the pot below?

EDIT: Found this on Mobius Instagram regarding the previous version:

mobiusglass#flowerpotvapor#herbalvaporizer This is a combination herbal and/or essential oil vaporizer. Designed for use with a 20mm heating coil, or with a little practice, torch heating. Comes with carb cap. Funnel also available for ease of loading herbals. Turns any pipe into a highly effective vaporizer. Designed by@circle.glass

Looks to me like you put the glass cylinder in the coil then dump in the herb when it's hot. I bet it's pretty straightforward.

Weird i cant even find a function video of the original Flower Pot.

i dont know of a function video either. i only know of the few v1 sold on the cave smoke shop, thanks to @nodrog 's informational post earlier in the thread.

But the inventor commented on the v2 instagram post that the CCC420 will do a review on it, so i am looking forward to that for sure.

This is just a guess.. But maybe the v1 reports were not good or maybe even flawed, and so they fixed the error(s) and created the v2 ??

I got an email from Andrew at Mobius about this very thing, and he said, "The flower pot is being redesigned and soon a V2 will be released. Some changes have been made to improve function and ease of use, keep your eyes peeled!"

My eyes are definitely peeled, especially with it being 100% quartz. Very curious to how it performs and taste.

Its making me want to try and somehow vaporize a few flowers on an average quartz nail.

Hopefully the wait is not too long for the CCC review.

imagine having a dual enail.
1 coil for your nail/concentrates.
The other coil for your flowers / FlowerPot v2 :brow:

Why imagine when you could buy the finest eNail setup today, which already includes options for flower, concentrates, as well as simultaneous flower & concentrate sessions? :)

Oh wow. i did not know of the Errlectric. It looks very very similar to the Mobius Flower Pot. i will check it's thread out. Pretty much the same thing, except the Errlectric is titanium and the Flower Pot is quartz?

And since you mentioned simultaneously. I'm now assuming the Mobius Flower Pot will also be capable of doing flowers and concentrates at the same as the instagram post description says "and/or" which makes me even more interested in it

"This is a combination herbal and/or essential oil vaporizer."

The Errlectric has titanium, titanium with quartz insert, and full quartz options for dabbing - as well as the herb nail for flower and/or concentrates. And in my opinion, it is far superior to the Mobius flowerpot and all other eNails for several reasons, one of which is that the controller, heater, and nails are all quite specifically designed to work with each other, creating a highly optimized system.

Have a question about the Mobius "flowerpot" ....

The V2 comes out only what? 3 months after the first version? What does that say about the functionality and feedback of the original? Probably wasn't very good....

So, my question is: Are the people who shelled out $200 on an incomplete design shit outta luck? Did they pay that money just to "provide feedback" ?

I love my Mobius, but the "flowerpot" seems a little gimmicky to me

Dang multiple surface options? Yeah that definitely sounds more superior to me just because of that. Even more the reliable electronics.

Thats probably a pretty good assumption. If so that sucks. i guess it really just depends on how flawed the flower pot v1 was. But i would love to hear from an owner if possible.

i agree with Mobius makes fantastic peculators, but yeah I'm not so sure whats up with this vaporizer.

i would like to also hear some reviews on the Crucible nail (if anyone is out there??)

Alright, y'all. I ordered a Flower Pot V2 just now from JF Friendly. Now I gotta go get a 20-mm coil for the enail. They said no info whatsoever comes with it, so I dropped a note to Mobius for any tips, tricks, instructions, etc. I'm really optimistic this will be, at last, an herb vaporizer that is both effective/efficient and not cumbersome or inconvenient to use.
