Before you dismiss this think of Nile Rodgers. You remember him ... the guy that made all those great rhythms we used to love? Things like founding Chic during the disco era, Good Times, Le Freak, he wrote We are Family for Sister Sledge, remember Diana Ross in upside Down? and Let's Dance with David Bowie??? and The Reflex and Notorius with Duran Duran??? Well I love his latest stuff with Daft Punk.

Turn this one up . . .

Nile Rodgers . . . less is more . . .

Anyone else like Autechre?

Ow yeah, Autechre, what's not to like  Amber is one of my favorite albums. I saw them a few times. Last time was last year's Bloc Festival. Amber is from 1994.....wow, I hear so much electroning music that can't even stand in the shadows of that piece of art

True that homie, they are one of the few artists who still consistently amaze me even with their old music

@hotmeals Their performance is not for the faint-hearted. It's usually in the dark as they don't want any lights on but there live performances are great. The great thing about the performance on Bloc was that the crowd were really digging it. So although it was not very danceable they crowd remained on the dancefloor and we enjoyed it together, in the dark, really amazing experience.

Because of listening to Autechre, I came across Amon Tobin again :)
