Nice find. New to me at least.

Whattaya know... another 3D vaporizer render, too. :D

How many people here have gotten one of the jet flame lighters only for it to break within the second or third refill? That is where I think this peice will malfunction.
Yeah, a lot of them aren't made to last. Shitty butane and improper filling/pressure could contribute as well, I think.

Well, it's been awhile so I decided to stop by again!
I just got an email from gotvape.com saying they will sell me "I-Inhale" portable vaporizer for $199 instead of $249 regular price if I pre order it (it has a home page at www.iinhale.com). It's not out yet, but the vaporizing process looks slightly similar to this one, only that one doesn't have a flame.

Let us know how your new vaporizer works out!
I will ... inhale seem way better but also seem to have a lot of lil piece to deal with ...and I dont find how the heater work on this units ?and i think it is pre set temp (374f)...but look nice ...way better and cheaper than other high-end pocket vap

I have to agree with Clear_Dome on the inhale. It looks nice in 3D, but not totally convinced every little part is safe. I'm also wondering if the construction/architecture will last with a habitual users like myself. (1/8oz of hydro/week) A lot of little pieces like was said. Not for me personally, but nice to see another 3d artist out there vapin' :)

I like the vapor geinie. I'll get on after my purchase of the PD. A bigger bowl would be nicer on the VG. Those knock offs never look quite as nice as the exotic wood VG, and would never get my vote. IMO

If you get a PD you'll think the bowl on the VG is huge ;)
Size doesn't matter! (said the guy with the little bowl :uhoh: )
hahahahaha !!! .....but seriously the bowl of the pd is smaller than the vg one ??? :/ ....I would like to have a vg with a bowl twice big as the original one ...but most of the time small bowl are more eficient

but for real

I LIKE BIG BOWL AND I CANNOT LIE .....:p

I like the small bowl idea. The problem I had with my POS was you had to pack .25 grams to get an even cook. I am more of a...take two hits...wait for an hour and take two more. Keep a managable high all day. Untill the evening, and then all bets are off. :p

I love my dug-out/one-hitter (Only beacuse I have to smoke for now :disgust: ), and from what I've been told the PD is a "one-hitter" type vaporizer in comparison. I'm tring to get down to .3 grams a day (at about double that now :uhoh: ). It will never happen with the big bowls of a whip based vape. At least the width of my bowl that came with my POS. Seriously... .25 grams just to cover the screen evenly. I've read thats a normal vape bowl amount, but I don't need that much at one time.

As for the VG having a bigger bowl...I was thinking more for social events, than personal use.

.3 grams a day ... I wish  I'd be glad to keep it to 1 gram a day ... with my vaporite I was easily chugging through 2 grams a day due to its uneven cook and big arse bowl. I think I could make an ounce last over 3 weeks now if I included total consumption of the fresh herb and the duff. Thats a 30% improvement over the box vape and bong.

I always wished the VG had a bigger bowl but never the PD. It really is the one hitter of the vap world as long as 1 = 2 to 3 hits and then leaves nice even duff for revapping at a later date. Even the duff is still worth one nice big revapped hit from the tiny bowl.

Ah...I'm lucky because my wife doesn't smoke. (Not lucky for my wife. She gets sick :( ) We are going to try canna butter as soon as I can find some regs. The hydros are just too nice too cook, and the lows ain't around. Good problem to have, but damn it's expensive.

BTW. I'm easlily at a gram a day by myself or hydro's. I'm trying to reduce my intake for I'm definetly becomming way to reliant on weed. :o All I want to do these days. :uhoh:

I'd never think anyone can smoke too much. For most the more the marrier. Literally. Just more of a personal thing. If I was single, and not a manager...I wouldn't give two F@#K's. :brow:

Sorry off topic...back to it. I think the vaporstar has great bong capabilities, but not really practical on the move like the VG. I could be wrong. I'm sure you could hook a direct tube to it, and cough your ass off. :p

I-Inhale Vaporizer Warranty
With over 99% of the I-Inhale Cordless Vaporizer being manufactured under the same roof, Oglesby & Butler is able to offer a 2 year warranty on the iInhale Vaporizer.
I wonder where the other less than 1% are made. China?

It certainly looks the deal and has some serious technology. Not cheap either ... but if it lasts it could be worth it. The volcano of portables :ko:

"The catalytic conversion happens in an isolated chamber within the I-Inhale Vaporizer so that butane can heat the unit but as it?s used it expels the butane as harmless water vapor through the escape ports located on the port of the unit."

The by-products of butane are carbon dioxide and water vapor, but that's after the hydrogen and carbon that make up butane are burned. I'm no chemist but I see no way that butane can be used as a fuel source for heat without combustion.

The catalyst used in car converters is normally a precious metal. This is what makes them expensive to replace and also why they're a target for car strippers. The chemical process breaks down toxic compounds into harmless (or less harmful) by-products. It's not a process designed to produce heat.

I'm calling BS on this 'butane=heat without combustion' vaporizer unless someone can explain how this catalytic conversion produces heat. What's the catalyst and how does it break down butane without burning it?

here in my country there are common butane stoves that are actually called "Catalyst stove" that have a white panel(similar to ceramic) that become red and hot when you switch on the stove but no flames are visible but the starter...i don't know if you ever seen one....but i'm sure they use the same tecnique!

We used a catalytic heater (many years ago) that ran on white gas for camping , no visible flame. Spooky. Reddish glow...

A metal mesh sounds like a possible catalytic matrix? Dunno...
