What Vape(s) do you use while driving?

just_the_flu

they say im crazy but i have a good time
... butane vapes (for me) are a hassle. too bad because i love my lotus.

So far my favorite driving vape is the CFX because of the quick heat-up
and i can pre-fill ELBs, and there easily filled while "busy"...

Whats your vape of choice while going down the highway?
(assuming your not a passenger)

When I smoked, I would drive and smoke, as do many other, specially the older lot.....

Now that I vape, sometimes on a long journey I will vape while I drive.... I don't find it dangerous or distracting, but anyway that's a different thread....

This thread is for people to discuss driving and vaping, not the moral or ethical issues with it...

What I much prefer about vaping, is that it can last the whole journey, where as smoking was always over very quick, you have to start and finish all at once....

But I can sip my vape at lesure, I can get 30 miles out of my flowermate....

I like the fm for driving as it's just no hassle, preloaded, 5 clicks and I'm away....

I tried the solo but it was a bit of hassle and possibly a little distracting, so I don't use that...

As far as I'm concerned the fm works really well to drive with, it doesn't knock your socks off either, just mellows me out so I can relax, listen to some music and enjoy the drive....

I love the Haze for long rides, with pre pack cans and a full xl battery it can do quite well on long trips. Very simple to use and looks like any other e cig mod to passing eyes.

In addition I do sometimes use a vapman if the situation is right. Something like heavy traffic can leave the opportunity to use it correctly with out distractions. I always take the vapman to work so if I have one packed and didn't us it I might use it after work on the ride home.

In all reality it can be extremely unsafe for any distractions behind the wheel. Be wise and think about what really matters. I don't want to be a hypocrite or preachy so I will leave each person to make their own decisions in life.

I been considering installing an arizer eq into the centre consol, behind the handbrake....

I live in the country compared to a busy city, all of my driving is done on quiet road's with no pedestrians....

I find I drive so much better when I'm high, every gear change is seemless, I'm super smooth and incredibly observant...

Has anyone done any track driving while high, if you get in the zone, all you can see is the next apex....

I agree with the Haze 3. You can have both ovens packed and ready. No fuss.
I have the keychain which is cool in that you can pre fill 8 more screens/cans but then it stinks:shrug:. Wish they thought of that:bang:. I also use the extended battery and average 6-8 bowls.

CFX for flower and wax pens like the Omicron and Evolve.

If it will be a long drive, it's key to have things preloaded. Back when I smoked, I could easily pack a new bowl while driving, but loading my vapes - not so much.

Although I do like what you mentioned about the prefilled elb's for the CFX. However the last time I tried to stick an elb in the cfx chamber, it didn't fit. Maybe I was doing something wrong?

... that's strange, unless the chamber sizes vary.. I ordered new ELB's from PV and had a few that were too snug for my evo,
but they fit nicely in my CFX...

I'll have to check it out again later. Will post in the CFX thread if anything.

I prefer to use the Air when distance driving but these days they have too many RBT/RDT checkponts not only in Sydney but also on the main highways. It also does not help with big electronic signs stating "Drug driving? Every police car is now a RDT. If you drug drive we will get you in the end". A real buzzkill but that said a couple of preloaded stems & a fresh battery & you are good to go.

What are you/have you been tracking? Personally I would not want to be on a track with someone high & don't know anyone who would tolerate that behavior.

Edit: I just had to move my car & I am rather high. Of course I decided to take Francine for a quick lap of a circuit I have driven for many years.

Iv been lucky enough to have access to closed tracks as I have been a race director, so I have run a track too...

Closed track is a different story altogether. I thought you were meaning at a track day or something...so what do you track these days? Oh Yeah, fucking cool job even if it is a hobby/part time.

Zion for sure. Also like the VapCap, Firefly, and Grasshopper.

VapCap whilst driving? Unless someone is heating that fucker you do live up to your username ;).

So is e-cig gear not included as vaping? Just asking since no one mentioned it yet... I don't ever leave the house without my rig, I puff it literally everywhere and I can carry a couple grams of oil in it so never have to reload on the go...

I personally don't vape and drive but that's only because of the strict laws and increased road side swap testing in my country resulting in a drug charge . Although with an in car converter the herbalaire is good for a whole car load... And solo fits in a lot of cup holders snug as a bug! I'd imagine the Mi is descent behind the wheel, couple stems for a longer trip, as I couldn't see reloading being super easy while operating a car.

Always fun to use while knee driving in minimal traffic or torching while at a stop light or a stop sign.

For example, when i go to my brothers house it takes me about 45mins depending on traffic. Minimal highway time. Most of the way is back roads with minimal drivers and a ton of traffic lights. When i bring the cap i usually will finish at least one load. Sometimes two....

Oh and if you want to cool the cap quickly just stick it out the crack in the window. You will hear the magic click a few seconds afterwards.

Just so Dab HAppy!
I have used all that are in my sig while driving with exception of the Daisy, viVape and Supreme. All others have been used. ESV was my favorite for ease of use while driving, but its performance is not on par with the Milaana...at least my in need of warranty unit is not. The FW3 is great for driving except I forget to primer puff sometimes and then I am just huffing slightly hot air. The Vapcap does present much more danger IMHO trying to use while driving but its actually not that hard at all to do. The Milaana is my favorite and I find reloading straw style with a jyarz type setup to be rather easy to do while driving. Easier than changing the radio station. The only drawback so far with the Milaana for me is it can be messy. The first month with it I collected so much ABV on my carpets that it looked like I hadn't vacuumed my car in years. Now I have my loading and unloading and checking on the load technique down pretty well, but everynow and then I spill some still.

Gotta admit I was one track minding thinking about doing 130 down the freeway & trying to spin a cap at the same time. You are absolutely right as you only need 10 seconds to heat a cap at a red light though :).

That is the best VapCap advert yet @VAPEHUNTER! VapCap run over by was it a 8 tonne truck? & it can be resurrected with a $10 glass body.

Really? Do you drink alcohol while driving too?

Am I the only one that uses a pair of butter knifes and a torch whilst driving? Joke.

Is that horse dead yet?

Actually I don't vape while driving. But I have medicated while pulled over at a rest stop and then gone back to driving. I don't see the act of using a preloaded vaporizer as any more dangerous than an ecig or drinking from a console staged cuppa coffee. I just choose not to do that.

Can I mention american guys drive a lot of automatics cars so you don't need both hands...in Europe most cars are manual gear and this make driving while vaping a bit more unconfortable...although I use the following vape while driving: Alfa, HipVap, Storm,Prima, Focus, Inhalater's, Evolve (no tane vapes or on-demand/stirring need here)
HipVap and Inhalaters are my favourites for long trip since I can preload a bunch of capsules/pods to swap on the ride.

Did you noticed there is no more cigare lighter in the new cars (sorry to notice that a bit late but my younger car was built in 90's...)?
