How does weed effect your sex life ir at all? I hope this conversation isn't too taboo but I figured were all forward thinking adults.

Weed has always enhanced my sexual desires. It's always made me easier to want sex, and made me more in tune with my sexual side. It made me feel more comfortable about the weird thoughts I have and helped me come to the realization that I believe I am polyamourous and bisexual, whilst being in a long term monogamous and heterosexual relationship. I feel open and in touch with my sexual side and during sex feel much more animalistic and in general it just feels fucking amazing.

But on the other end of the spectrum I can become dependant on weed for sex. It becomes harder to achieve stimulation and orgasm without weed if I indulge during sex too often and I find myself associating the two and my girlfriend as a non weed-consumer doesn't particularly like that.

Anyways thought I'd throw that out there cause I have almost never seen a discussion on weed and sex but overall for me weed has drastically improved my sex life, I just need to be careful not to overdo it haha

ya it feels pretty damn good, so do roller coasters and back rubs. there is indulgence and then there's overindulgence. balance, its all about balance. i find that my enhanced experiences are far more rewarding long term when i maintain some respect for my own ability to enjoy.

i sometimes look at this like over salting fries, i love salt on my fries and when there is no salt i certainly dont enjoy it as much...but too much and then it becomes more about the salt than the fries. fuck im hungry.

I don't find it factors in too heavily for me. Sure, sex while high feels great, but sex always feels great and being high pretty much always makes things feel even better, so no surprises I suppose. I'm also a regular/heavy user so I don't find the effects of cannabis to be overwhelming - I can remember as a teenager finding the mixture mind blowing.

However I can easily acknowledge that it has value, even perhaps therapeutic value, to some. I've come to know enough people to realize that many have emotional reactions that inhibit them, and cannabis can make it much easier to cope with that and overcome it when desired. I think it's important to realize what you're doing up front and not blame the medicine for your own decisions, but when applied knowingly and with good intentions I see it being a good alternative treatment, certainly cheaper and with less side effects than therapy/pills.

I would 110% endorse cannabis over alcohol as a sexual enhancer. Even if I vaped a huge plug of kief I'd still be physically capable of performing to satisfaction and enjoying myself, but every time I've drinken heavily my performance is just about as good as you'd imagine, probably because when drunk you have all the sensation of a rock. I also find that even if people are less inhibited on cannabis, they are much less irresponsible and regretful than they are on alcohol.

Yeah, it does seem to increase my sex drive and make sex more pleasurable as long as I am with someone I trust and do not over do it.

Try some LSD with sex if you are experienced/comfortable with it. Make sure it is with someone you care about and trust/love for sure and make sure it is actually acid and not some knockoff N-BOME stuff. 2 CT-2 was my second runner up. So bummed out I have not used any acid for 15 years now. Life kind of got in the way.

It is nice to explore, caress, and slowly build up to the REALLY nice part. Your lady friend should enjoy it as well. I have done 3 hour sessions, and tried to keep penetration in a normal time frame (20-30 minutes or so). The rest is just sensual and loving exploration. Doesn't have to be sexual at first. It can start with a massage or whatever you want to do and then progress from there. It feels really good and I think an experience like that is good for the soul and for bonding with your partner.

I am usually stoned when I go to bang.

In college i developed a habit of smoking a cigarattte after every sex. Because my partners always smoked and would.

Now I just go take a luxurious vape session after sexing, or a few giant dabs.

Always stay stoned and you'll be ready for anything life brings you is what i'm saying here folks :cheers:

You called it, once you start abusing anything our reward systems do not get the same satisfaction as it did the first time. Everything in life is about balance. once you start abusing you go downhill.

Aside from the overall heightened feeling others are discribing.

The biggest improvement cannabis has made to my sex life is its ability to help me relax more and communicate my needs better to my partner.

This goes the same for her and she enjoys our sessions better.

Not to say we are repressed at all, but if you don't ask, you don't get.

We've been 'doing it' for 15 years and are currently having some of the best sex we've ever had.

I nice dab before works great for slowing things down too.

I could never be dependent on weed for sex.

But as pleasure is all in the mind I can see a corrilation between the two.

Slowly increasing my weed dosage per day...
It must be connected....

However, at the beginning, after 2 forced years break, it was kinda hard to combine both, but its probably due to me being a lightweight...

Other positives are the effects weed has on sperm. I have read that sperm counts are lower by about 1/3 and that the sperm actually act different.

Sober sperm move along at a nice, steady pace until they hit the egg. They then kick into overdrive trying to break in & fertilize. Stoned sperm tend to hit the ground swimming with everything they got! By the time they find the egg, they're too tired to break in.

I agree tremendously with all the positive effects on libido and heightened senses.

There is a small negative effect for me: sometimes it makes me distracted. You know when weed makes you hyper-focused on something and you lose the sense of time? Well sometimes it's something else than the sex (a noise, my work issues, grocery list etc). Maybe it's more a female thing to experience :D

Toooootally happens to me. We'll be all hot and steamy and I'll be like damn haven't refilled the cats water recently. Lol not the thing to be thinking haha. Honestly I like that my mind wanders sometimes as a guy tho. It helps me last longer haha. I can just be like woah I'm about to finish, OK time to figure out all the groceries I need at the store hahaha. Not as much of a concern for girls tho lol

Ditto on it increasing my libido and making it more enjoyable. Absolutely enhances it. I think a big part of it is being able to relax and just be more passionate and into it. Get's me out of my head and into the moment, the awesome nekkid moment.

Edit: Also great thread @Vaked420 , I've wondered how it affects other people too. I remember hearing it killed sex drives from someone when I was a kid.
