Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Hi folks. It's been a while (9 months). As some of you know, I've been dealing with a series of health issues, had my hands full. But I beat the cancer and the other stuff is slowly improving. Thank god for my EVO and potent CBD's.

I'm pleased to see old friends still here on the thread, especially of course those of us who go back to the Cloud beginning. So many new folks, though! I take that as a sign that the EVO is still holding its own in the market.

Since the above is, strictly speaking, off topic - and I don't want to be moderator spanked - I'll add to this post something I discovered about cleaning the ELB's that relates to recent discussion here about that:

Test tube brushes have been suggested. I'm using these:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IUZ9AY4

You get 10 for a ~$10, will last forever.

I don't like the 6" handle (I bend it in two), but what I was looking for was 12mm (~1/2") stiff bristles. For a long time I used an in/out motion to clean, which worked OK but still left small particles in the ELB pores. Then I stumbled onto this method: Insert brush holding ELB near bottom, rotate the ELB just a little bit until you feel the tips of the bristles sticking through the ELB pores. Use this motion rotating the ELB all around, removing and reinserting the brush at a new point in the ELB - takes less than a minute. You'll find the ELB is clean, save perhaps for a few remaining particles that can be removed with a quick blow. Eventually there will be resin build-up that needs to be removed with ISO, but I am finding that I need ISO cleaning much less; probably only a quarter as often as I did before or even less.

Good to be back with the gang.

Oldie!!!! Good to see you BRO! You were my first professor at this School for the Enlightened! Fuck Cancer and Combustion! Keep on Vaping Brother!!!

Just got the FC-MOD. It actually seems really sturdy. Better than the symbiartic, probably. Don't really bother with the hydratube, since it just seemed overkill.

Umm what the hell is going on here. Anyone have this happen before?

I went to insert a nail and it wouldn't go all the way in. Huh? There's nothing in there to cause blockage. It hasn't had any weird fall or impact.

The bamboo seems to be loose, which was not the case before. I can't tell for sure yet what the condition of the bamboo is as I'm waiting for the EVO to cool down.

Edit: The bamboo does slightly twist, but not fully. Possible it was like that before though and I never noticed.

I've learned recently that the EVO can absolutely serve as a one-hitter.

1/4 to 1/2 loaded ELB at 3:00-5:00, drawing fast and hard extracts the goodies in one hit.

1/2 to 3/4 loaded ELB at 11:00-2:00 gets extracted in a good 5-6 hit session.

The EVO is so damn versatile...

Flower or concentrate.
One hitter or session.
Slow draw, medium draw, fast draw.
Loose pack or tight pack.
Coarse grind, fine grind, no grind (whole nugs).
Dry mouthpiece, hydratube, any water piece.
Upright or inverted.
It works no matter what. Well...except when the bamboo breaks like mine haha.

That's a mighty fine advertisement there BRO!

quick question: how much grams per session?
minimum grams? (how many hits can u get and at what temps?)
maximum grams? (how many hits can u get and at what temps?)

Grams!? Lol Less than .2 most of the time. .2 will be a nice full like at least 3/4 of an elb probably. Maybe .3 but no gram sessions haha. I pack 3/4 ELB's and get 5-6 hits at 12-1:30 on the dial. If I were to push to 3 I could get that all in 1 or two hits.

I've done a few vaporizer's however this one is special.
0.25 +/- each session
12:00 - 1:00 usually.

6 normally however up to 7 if I want.
5 - 6 is my preference for major flavor!

I have a 240v unit and do not ever see the need to go above 11 o' clock on the dial. I have tried higher settings, but did not like the flavor or hit.

I generally increase the dose throughout the day, starting at 0.1g and working up to 0.2g before bed. This gives me anything from 2 to 4 good dense hits, depending on how much I draw.

sweetherb,
I've been trying to think of something to use as a rack to hold my ELBs.
As i often have different strains on the go and i like to keep track of which ELB has what in it.
I was thinking something along the lines of a rack, like in the picture below but with just 6-10 holes:

hammering some nails into a piece of wood, O.O.O.O might also work to hang them between if the measurements were accurate.
How do you guys store them?

I made a wooden small test tube type holder similar to the above picture but only 4 slots. I use this for both my vapexnails and elbs. I also have drilled holes in a board of wood as a holder for the elbs and both work well.

Anyone ever try the herbal blends from VapeXhale? They have an energy blend, allergy blend, etc. Sounds interesting but they have been out of stock for months. I get allergies and I could use energy lol so figured I'd check if anyone has tried. @stickstones ?

VaporBrothers, one of the first vape companies, has some herbs that run $15. They are solid.

Didn't @Tstat start back up again? Check out his thread here.

I haven't tried them. There are several sites that have other herbs as options. I've never had much luck with them, but only tried a couple.

I can't remember them ever being in stock. I doubt they were ever produced however having them on the site does provide a necessary function.

Wow...weird...I literally had the same thought process this morning.

The FC-MOD is pretty neat. I was wondering if the branch is sturdy enough to regularly hold a hydratube? I was worried, although it seems to be able to hold it (wasn't going to leave it more than a minute).

I have used the FC mouthpiece (albeit a small hydra tube) many times with the FC mod and no issues whatsoever. I choose not to, however, as it is almost too much filtration but to each his own

Is there anyway I could get a TL;DR on the currently agreed best way of using the Evo?

I currently have a hydratube from Dhgate, but worried water would fall into the unit.

Right now waiting for my friend to replace my D020-D that he broke.

I think I threw out the bands thinking they weren't useful... would like that look far better than the current sleeve.
