Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
What's a good procedure for putting rosin in hemp in a Ti tip VC? Would you just ball up a small Q-tip amount, drop it in and melt a drop of rosin on top?

I've been alternating my milaana and my vapcap since they came. Lately I've been only using the vapcap. It is the only vape I've tried that I can use without either water or choking. I'm not sure how this small vape can do that but it's so easy to use without having to set up a water device.

This is exactly what I find... I believe it is due to fresh air being mixed into the vapour stream after the extraction chamber- this fresh air causes less irritation.

What I also find is that if you use the carb to achieve a tight pull, you can toke it like a cigarette, in that you draw a mouthful of vapour into your mouth, and then inhale it, and so it mixes with fresh air too. pretty much all my other vapes feel dry and irritate my throat, causing me to cough.

gotta say sitting here using this thing just makes me realize what an amazing time we live in. This thing is a fucking modern marvel. If someone had made something like this a few hundred years ago they'd probably been accused of sorcery

VapCap and northern lights #5. Whoa! This is the first indica I've had in ages that actually gets me stoned not just tired lol. I'm also kind of tired, good thing the weather is nice and it's Sunday, time to go swimming!:clap:
I want to try and post a video of me using the VapCap and my hydrabase and hydrabomb from vapexhale. It's a very large piece and it really shows off what the VapCap can do to a large water pipe with dry herbs. It's cool because this large water pipe was made for vapor, the VapCap fills it more than the EVO.. It's awesome :science:
I need to make one all in one cut so you can see how long I heat, watch the hit, and let me tap out the abv because I will have to prove I didn't combust lol. I will try this later after a swim!

HI guys - new to Vapcap. I really wanted a one hitter type device and I got a GH that's working well for me (knock on wood). But I was still looking for something...I don't know...smaller maybe, easy, whatever.

So, I ordered a Vapcap OG to see if I liked the concept and design. For the price, it wasn't much of a risk.

Well, I got it yesterday and, of course, immediately combusted the first load. Yes, I read the directions including the part where TWICE they tell you to dry run it so you can recognize the click. sigh You should have seen me trying to assemble the Christmas toys...its sad really :brow:

Now equipped with more knowledge, I have found this thing to be simple to use, works with hand torn or my New Vape fine grind herb I run in some other vapes, and the first draw is slight visible vapor and heavenly taste. I have found, as you might expect, that the money shot draw (the big vapor) draw is either the 2nd or the 3rd depending on the strain and how dry it is. That does not bother me a wit.

I am pretty convinced that 3 hits is max. I don't mind if my ABV is an even darker tan rather than a dark brown. The Vapcap AVB compares similarly with the Volcano AVB that I am saving for some butter. I'm fine with this level of extraction. I found the fourth hit to be a bit nasty tasting and just not much there besides starting to char the ABC a small bit.

Look, this is two days with it and I probably said some things to make you guys roll in the aisle. Please feel free to correct me...I have no pride (really in general ) and would rather learn than spout.

I do have a couple of questions, I am sure they are answered in this thread but its 200 pages....give a bother a hand, mates! LOL

The Ti glass, I'm guessing that the advantage of the Ti is its a better heat sink??

This one you may just tell me to research it myself, but what main thing does the Omni bring to the table over the Ti Glass or OG.

Thanks

From my experience the ti deffinantly heat soaks a lot more and it takes longer to heat up than the glass. Not like annoyingly longer and you can always put the torch super close or high and get it to click fast; but when your spinning it, slowly getting it to temp the way I like to, the Titanium deffinantly heats up slower and extracts better. With the ti tip my hits are a little milkier and the whole load comes out more even. I know that people have fine tuned their ability to use the glass ones and get great results but I did notice a change in performance and in the way the tip heated when I switched to the titanium.

No they are not.You will need a decent soldering iron and electronic solder to solder the legs onto the board I used a 50Watt iron.an electronics iron typical 25Watt may not provide enough heat to solder the heavy copper coil legs onto the circuit board. You will also need a pretty hefty psu to power it and a 5.5 x2.1 power socket to accept a standard 12V psu Jack This is the psu I bought to use as a bench supply.

There is...Great idea converting induction to conduction & it should work,so long as my power supply has enough grunt to heat the extra tube, which it should.I have some SS tube here that will surround the vapcap.i would only need a few inches or less.I will try it first light & report back.

The stinky fumes from the hot pcb and coil when it's hot is too much to bear indoors tonight.I think it's the coatings on the components and the coil burning off which hopefully will fade after a few sessions.
I'm nice and medicated after using the coil even if the flavour isn't great just yet.

Outdoor testing under the morning sun will be nice start to the day no doubt.

hey I've been working on something similar, but without a pcb. the thing is, the circuit is fairly simple, and you can make your own using this guide http://www.rmcybernetics.com/projects/DIY_Devices/diy-induction-heater.htm however, your problem seems to be coming from the coil, simply put, it's too big. decreasing the length of the tunnel will give you a better result, as long as you keep the tip out of the coil. however, changing the length will also change the resonating frequency which will change the skin depth of the heat (which may work for you or against you). if you have the cash and time to spend, it shouldn't be too expensive making your own. unfortunately i haven't had either to test it myself yet. the circuit in the guide could use a high current 15V regulator and then be used with a rectifier and wall plug, and you can probably install an activation switch between the 15V supply and the first coil, but the circuit will still probably resonate so maybe an automatic sink as well in the capacitor/inductor loop. I wish i could verify whether this definitely works or not but at this point I just dont have the means. hope this helps.

The Omni has a titanium body and a titanium mouthpiece. This all metal combination makes it virtually indestructible.

The titanium mouthpiece is adjustable to allow for a customized air path. This is unlike the Ti models that rely on manual carb use.

I've got a first gen Ti woody but have been thinking about upgrading to a Ti vong stem. Am I better off buying just the vong part (listed here http://www.dynavap.com/product/vong/) or buying a whole new vc (http://www.dynavap.com/product/ti-vong-stem/). Other than having a second vc, is there any advantage to going the more expensive route (design changes, updates, etc)?

I initially bought extra components to switch out the look and feel of my Woodies. However, I am now buying the rest of the components to make complete Vapcaps from the extra sleeves, condenser and mps that I had. I find that I am prefering complete sets.

But I think that this is a personal preference.

Do you prefer the idea of switching around the components or does complete units appeal to you?

I suppose I'm looking at this more like a permanent upgrade. I really don't need multiple units

Hi everybody!

So i receive my order since two weeks now...

At first i was so impatient to receive my omnivap that i didn't master i:shrug:t, i wasn't very happy with....
:disgust:
For all the futures owners of an omnivap, try it with the glass sleeve.
It's better to understand the adjusting airflow, which is...AMAZING!!!!!!
Today it's my daily driver. It's really a new way of vape:rockon:.

As all my previous flame base vapes (VG,Lotus Vapman,Vaporstar, Vapocane....) i have to try it again and again to be a big master:myday:
The more i use it the more i like it.

Yes!!!! You've got the exact same omni/Blackwood setup as me- I love it! Great looking dynastash btw.

That's actually this bowl. Shatter on hemp fibre

L2dHp3l.jpeg

She can get just as milky with herb too.
I was on vacation so sorry for quoting an old post, but do you put a ball of fiber in, then load on top? I was sort of wrapping it around the shatter and then putting it in, I'm not sure how much difference that would even make. Your pic looks like half the fiber I used with double the shatter, I wish I wasn't out of concentrate right now so I could test this out.
