?? Does new Delrin adapter still snap onto the mV cover's nipple OR does it now grab the outer cover perimeter or ??
Other members have posted pictures on previous pages.
Here is a picture of both adapters, the one in the foreground is the one you have and no longer being produced, the other one on the background is the one that wraps all around the lid.

What's that metal holder thingy, what's it do, and should I want it?

Also jesus, I know mentally I don't need the glass and teflon cores, but I really want both. I think I'll convince myself by saying at least I can smoke with someone at the same time.

The Teflon core is flavor king and still can hit really hard.
Like @subway13029 said, you can almost make the Teflon core hit like a glass (decarb kit adds conduction) BUT you cannot make the glass core give that ultimate taste of the Teflon.
I have never said to myself, I wish I had more punch or I need more punch like the glass---been 100% satisfid with Teflon core

I'd suggest Teflon core unit + battery power/charger + AC adapter puck, as a bare minimum. Then you have an ultimate desktop AND an ultimate portable with longest battery life out there (although not stealth sized).
Extra baskets + rimmed screens + Flexicones , on top of what you get with battery miniVAP kit.

I have the original Delrin adapter and prefer using the @Ratchett Delta 3D Studio silicone adapter.

Add a nice glass long mouthpiece from @Oregonglassblower --can customize the length, bend, mouthpiece style.

Cheapo Chinese hydratube and small bubbler with minimal diffusion,

And you are ready to rock.
Thanks alot for your input. Will get all the above. When you buy a new unit directly from hermes , does it come updated with the teflon core and new battery?

It is a titanium holder/base I made for myself, sorry but they are not available, and in case anybody asks, the two rings in the foreground are a titanium dicarboxylation kit.

I bought in US but thru Hermes it's likely the same that:
best pricing is to buy the Teflon core/ battery powered kit which has a carry bag, miniVAP, battery, battery cradle to charge, power cable, assorted Flexicone, screens, wire baskets, etc.
Then purchase the AC puck adapter as an accessory----- the power cable in the kit also works on the AC puck.
Get some extra Flexicones, rimmed screens, baskets.
Shop for some cheapo glass to start

if yall had a chance to get the black or sliver portable miniVap for well bellow 499$ msrp would yall take that offer asap!?!Would this go well along side a herbalizer? I recently bought a brand new one too back up a 3 year old herbalizer incase it goes out.

As long as who you're buying from is authorized in case of the need for warranty work. One lesson I've learned over time is that the best price isn't always the best deal long term.
If you're in the States buy from @stickstones.

Yea I made sure everything is legit. Contacted hermes and everything. And they gave me the ok. I'm just worried Ima spend all this money and the miniVap doesnt match up to the herbalizer. With the exception of the heat up time, what does the miniVap have over the herbalizer? ? Thanks guys any advice would be helpful.

Never tried herbalizer and its 20 second heat up time..but i
From what ive.heard it doesnt have that extra oomp that the mv has..maybe im wrong but the herbalizer doest scream powerhouse to me.but ive heard it very fast and nice taste plus it has fan assisted..i guess its all personal preference.

Can't compare personally, but I'm pretty certain your Herbie has the portability factor of a colostomy bag. In terms of vapor production, quality and effect, I consider the mv most on terms with the Plenty but more portable.

What makes you use other vaporizers over the minivap then?

How difficult is it to repack bowl hits? Would the chamer or basket be to hot to handle?
I do it off red all the time it's super easy. It feels hot for sure but the tips of your fingers get used to it. I haven't seen an easier loading mechanism out there. My friend showed me the Pax 2 and I had to suppress a look of horror and try not to say anything when he showed me how you load that vaporizer.

I was going to write a novel, but just get this vaporizer if you can afford to and get all the attachments you can if you can afford it.

If you can afford this vaporizer, I haven't seen anything shown to me on the market so far that does this.

Have both the herbalizer and minivap. I use my minivap a lot more than my herbie. I think minivap has better taste and a stronger vape signature. But I probably use the minivap different than others. I place the nipple/basket directly onto my 14mm male pukinbeagle and get monster choking clouds. I never use it dry.

The herbie has the advantage of speed and accurate temp.

I always use the flexicone basket modules are they are the best loading system out there IMO.
Even on red (445 F) you can finish the load, remove cover and take a couple quick pulls where the basket is getting room temp air and voila--- very easy to handle.

I love the Flexicones so much, even use them in many other vapes like my Herbalizer and Mighty etc.
With them, the chambers stay super clean too.
