Thanks Slow Draw.

Okay, I tried sending a PM to @RastaVapa on Twitter and I get a message, "This user doesn't follow you. You can only send messages to people who do."

I am new to Twitter (today) and not familiar with it.

He means a pm to rasta on here. Just click on his profile and send message link should appear

Edit .. start conversation is the one

Thanks VapourHaze, I got it. What a set of cannons on your avatar, Arnold in a younger day, eh? Are you a gym rat?

That's was quite some weekend. A lot of people met the HGL for the first time this weekend. Almost all of them were very positive about it. There were a lot of vaping newbs and a couple of people that already own a vaporizer or vaped before. Together with the Haze Dual it was a very good weekend. Lots of highs for lots of people's with no combustion involved.

Nope, I didn't even know it was a thing. I live on the other side of the North Sea.

How the hell did I miss all this commotion?? A log vapouriser based in the uk for a cracking price what's not to like, I'm not in a position right now to grab one of these off you @RastaVapa but I can see a very very early Christmas present coming on soon ;). I'd like to say personally that I'm truly immensely impressed with how you have made these log vape's for us all to try I say again for a very attractive price. Just love my Milaana and it's always by my side but I'd dig a log to complement my wooden collection (just sold a lotus too, would have been a very fine wood collection if I hadn't but it's wasn't being used now Mi is on the scene, omnivap is another collecting dust because of her.

Ok so has the price changed or is likely to change anytime soon?
What's included in the package, everything that's needed (minus the weed ;))?
Is there a catalog of woods to chose from?
I'm a big flavour snob, how does this rate taste wise?
How do we go about ordering? Via pm on here or is there a website?

Can someone compare this to a solo? I dont mean convection vs concuction but more like how does it hit and feel, do u get a different high? Is the HBL easy to use?

I cant compare it to a solo because I don't own one. I do however own a Haze Dual. The Haze Dual is very good taste wise and I'd say it tastes almost the same when I factor out the wooden part of the tastings. Where the HGL excels tough compared to the Haze Dual is the ease of use in day to day life. It takes a lot less cleaning and filling it up is easier as well. Having it on all the time and hitting it when you want at any moment is also a big plus.

I cant say much about drawresistence because it al depends on how clean you had your screen when you started drawing.

But it is so hard to compare them because they are both different tools. You can hammer a nail with a screwdriver and get a screw in with a hammer, but when u use the right tools for the right job everything is a lot easier right. If you ask me how is the quality of the screwdriver and how is the quality of the hammer, I'd say I got some top notch tools over here.

Thanx! Is it easy to reach combustion by accident? Hated when that happend early on with my mflb, trying to manage those higher temps could be tricky at first.

Deep on the bottom of the sea in the SOUTHERN Part of CALIFORNIA schools of YELLOW TAIL crowd the sea floor! I wanted to SPEAR a large SEA BASS however a small 30#'er was too tempting to resists. I had to empty my freezer full of LOBSTER to make room for my catch.

A few rips before feasting.

My wood is stained however it still work's?

Simply gorgeous @Mirimi! How are you finding your first plug in?

I have both, but since I owned my first log I haven't really used my Solo. I will always like the Solo, as it helped me fuck combustion.... but imo logs provide an even better experience. I prefer the taste, the draw, and the aesthetics. Both will get you nicely lifted, both have their strengths, but for me logs come up trumps.

The HGL is a perfect introduction to the world of logs, if you ask me. :)

EDIT: Oh, yes..... I forgot to mention, given that the HGL package came with a wong, I finally decided to take the plunge and get myself a smaller bubbler:

I usually hit my vapes dry. I came to vaping from predominantly smoking joints, so dry hits seemed a natural progression. However, this little GEAR Frosted Bees Knees Mini Beaker Bong is just lovely to use with the HGL. It's nice to switch it up a little.... and the hits are so very smooth through it.

That's zebrano log is simply stunning @RastaVapa even my fiancé is impressed with it, looks like I'll be sitting one on my coffee table too in the future, glad to hear your back up and running now V :)

Thanks man pleased with this one myself, found an easier way to centralise the SS element so its right in the middle of the heat core so no revolving or one sided hot spots maybe.......

Here is the new glass stems one pic is held next to a daisy mouthpiece for thickness reference......

Will have gongs the same tubing with silicon for 18mm only atm no ground joints until i can source a better glass supplier..........

@Seren I love it! Everyone I showed it to was also impressed by the beauty, simplicity and efficiency of the log. I'm starting to convert the boyfriend to the world of vaping :)

I'm using mainly the wooden stem, without any screen. It works great, haven't combusted even though I try to walk the line to see how much I can extract. The glass stem was nice to have some visibility to experiment with draw speed.

Still just a bit too hot to hold though. Am I the only one having this problem? I think it's better for it to be too hot than the opposite, especially in summer, it's been more than 30°C. @RastaVapa , did you source some dimmers? Or if anyone can advise me a good one you tried with other logs.

Pleased to hear it's working out well for you @Mirimi

I also find it gets warm - just like my e-nano. Not too warm to handle though, and I find the base remains cool - which tends to be a natural place to hold it anyway, especially when using with water.

I tried it with the VK VVPS - and that easily tamed it - but I tend to use it without.

I have tried a dimmer and buck convertors i could do them for around £25 - 30 it would be in a small plastic project box with a 7 segment display showing voltage and a pot with a knob on front to set voltage, i should have a few ready in the next few weeks so i will let you know when to order one :D

for the ultimate in control though a bench PSU is the best and most accurate and cleanest output voltage ,something like this

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rapid-HY1...822756?hash=item1ea60bfe64:g:WzwAAOSwhcJWKLy-

Plus you get a current meter which comes in handy for diognosis of problems, if the lead broke or element the current will show zero , at around 12,5v my psu shows 600ma drain showing everythings good without even feeling the log....... only for the extreme log vapa .... lol ......
