Please don't order this. The downstem isn't connected to the perc so the water will most likely just flow straight up the perc instread of up the recycler.

Doesn't look like it will work too well, but let us know if it does and how it does.

I'd still advise you spend twice as much (and that's very rare for me!) and get what we know works well. Yeah.... It's another $20+, but well worth it IMO. That's less than 2 g's for most of us.

Always nice to save money, but better if you figure out what it will cost first.

Did anyone receive yingmin's 2 way conversion rig?

I see a lot of inline percs but have never tried one myself. For those that love this style perc, please enlighten me- what are its attributes? What do you like about them?

Do you have to pull fairly hard to get the far perc slits firing evenly with the front ones?

My hydrabomb knockoff from Lumin88 arrived the other day. It's just like shown on the pictures. Works amazing for the price but the joint is quite recessed so uses the silicon seal on the EVO to make it airtight. I preferred my now broken Evolver hydratube but with the risk of breaking glass I think this is much better value.

Will add a hydrabase once they come out with a revised version.

@flotntoke i agree but at $40 im stuck with it. at $20 i can easily trade it for a few grams as i know someone who takes any cheap glass i have. i tell them things dont function properly and they dont care, weird i know.

I would buy this right now if an evo and a HT would fit on this but it looks a little tight as others have mentioned. Has anyone told Yingmin about it? I will take one for the team and order one if we can determine it works with the Evo and HT combo as intended.

any 18mm female mouthpiece would work or any mouthpiece with an adapter of course. The one from the Evo would do it, or any 18mm Hydrotube works for staking percs. That's what's it's designed to do. We love removable mouthpieces and stacking percs around here!

Hahaha i crack myself up. I swore id never order from steven again...and yet i just ordered the str8fab-14mm. I hope he just had issues with the FTK, maybe steven is building these by the bazillion now and can be easily shipped. hahahaha omg. i said steven, easy, and ship in the same sentence. #Facepalm

I got one, the showerhead downstem was cracked and there was a hairline fracture in the mouthpiece. I bought a replacement downstem and negotiated a $13 refund from yingmin5.

I just got a couple of Steven's FC-Mouthpieces. For $33 it's a great deal, but the female joint is recessed really far and one of the two won't even mate with my Evo.

I know I can make it work with an adapter, but who wants to fuck around with that?

So many of these Chinese pieces seem to have the recessed joint problem, and I know a number of us have tried to explain to them to NOT do that, but it seems they either don't care, or can't. I'm not sure which. :hmm:

I know what you mean. 1 out of 3 Steven Mouthpeices worked on my EVO.....wouldn't you know it had to be one with the worst perc.

i have a bubbler being made by an american glass blower right now and he's having trouble getting a nice seal on the recessed/dewar joint. could just be a difficult part to master

Those hydrabases are a great idea! I will have to get an inline on eventually and compare it to my original one. It's good that people who don't wanna spend the money can get some thing that at least has the same functionality. And God forbid mine ever breaks I'm not just screwed now

still happy to have the original as I know getting one of those shower heads with equally firing percs could be a challenge and require me to buy 2-3 of them lol. Gotta love China glass.

@Stu i had drawn up two intakes showing how theirs are, and how it should be, but I've yet to see any changes to these joints being recessed. I believe @gaseous_clay has done the same without results also. I'm starting to think it's a limitation in the ground glass parts they are using.
