The Zion kind of dropped off the radar, but the ToD has straight up disappeared. I don't think there has been any word on it since the Mi took priority. Wasn't RBT offering Milaanas instead to people who pre-ordered it? I could be remembering wrong, but that doesn't seem like a good sign.

I feel like RBT is sitting in a room full of Milaanas, looking around at all of them and thinking "damn..why did I ever get myself into this Zion mess, I just wanna make Milaanas."
When Zion was a hobby for him, it was fun I imagine. Now it's for profit, and the Milaana is more easily mass produced, still churns out a good profit, and is cheaper for the public. I can't see him being excited to start making Zions again. I can't see them being mass produced. I've considered the possibility that he might just get out the existing offers and then cancel the Zion project and just follow up with warranty for us. Not sure, really...I just can't imagine he's too enthusiastic about the situations.
All speculation though, take it as a grain of salt in the shaker of possibilities.

I think we're deep into that 20% of uncertainty. I emailed recently requesting an updated timeframe for Zions to ship and was told by Ryan that he could not give one. Seems he's afraid of giving another guess and missing it, thinking it will just upset those waiting even more. Personally, I'd prefer some update to radio silence. He also reiterated that refunds are available and that Zion pre-orders can order the Mi for $129.

I didn't get the impression he was dropping it entirely, just that it was not likely to receive attention for a while. I feel safe in saying the focus is pretty much entirely on the Milaana for the time being, though. I'm leaning heavily toward just opting for a discounted Mi and taking a refund on the rest. Could even put what's left over toward a Stickybrick.

He still has to make Milaana parts to send to the manufacturer, so that has slowed things down it seems, but he's moving that process back to his own lab, so hopefully that'll mean Zion progress soon too since he'll at least be around both projects together now. Milaana probably needs a bit more push so there can be plenty of stock for orders, then back to Zion work I suppose. We'd hear if the entire project was scrapped, but thankfully it is still planned for production when time allows. Been a crazy ride for sure, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel, still worth waiting for imo especially at a low price, yet at the same time I myself am relying on Milaana much more than Zion

I'm out. Requested a Mi and a refund for the rest this morning. I still would prefer a Zion, and will most likely pick one up when they're available, but I don't do well with indefinite waiting periods. Going to pick up a Stickybrick as a portable desktop to sort of fill the niche I had my eyes on Zion for. Best of luck to everyone still on board.

Nobody is going to defend this. I don't think it's laziness, I think his brain is committing as much time as he has on Milaana and he doesn't want to return these until he has the permanent solution. But even a temp fix and return would be better than leaving you 3 hanging so long...

It's complicated since we don't know all details, but it is assembly mainly, individual parts manufacturing had to be brought back to the RBT lab as I mentioned. It has taken from Zion time but now they're in the same place for him to work on at least, hopefully it won't take too long to implement the new changes to get the rest built (and yours fixed first I presume)

I also actually paid for a milaana today while the discount is still available for those with pre orders.
It appears rbt might be trying to phase these out. I'm sure it makes more business sense to make a vape with less parts at a cheaper price and similar results. We can speculate all we want but it seems we just won't know until we do...
