Please recommend a backup

I have to send my daily use vaporizer in for the third time and I will be without one for probably a week. Don't have a backup besides a mflb but the batteries don't hold a good charge anymore so it is a pita to use. I would like to buy a portable backup so I can have a decent experience medicating while I wait for my primary to get replaced for the third time. I'd like to keep it under $200 if possible since this will be a backup. Been thinking about the G Pen Elite, Boundless CF or CFX, or maybe a Pax 2. Vapor quality is top priority, followed by ease of use/long battery life. Not too worried about stealth or travel use. Water adaptable would be a plus but not an absolute requirement. The convection device I use now has excellent air path and flavor and is very efficient so I know whatever I get is likely to be a step down from that as far as vapor quality goes. Just looking for a solid backup that I can depend on and not mind too much using for short periods while my other is out for frequent repairs. Maybe I will have better luck after my next replacement on my primary but I can no longer count on it and it sucks not having a device while shipping vapes back and forth.

The CF or CFX is a good bet yep. Might want to also consider a sticky brick, as you already have battery devices, perhaps it might be nice to try an excellent butane vaporizer?

I'm sure folks will come along suggesting the Milaana, and maybe you do want that. I won't personally recommend it, but if you decide on it, just beware of the potential for poor CS.

Have you ever had a Solo?

I can vouch for the vapman being great but it has a bit of a learning curve so might not be the best for a backup unless you dont mind getting to learn how to use it over a couple days.

Are you oppoesd to electric vapes?

Probably would like to avoid flame required types. Never had a Solo. By electric are you referring to one with a cord?

I would recommend the CF. I have the CFX and it is great, but I now realize the CF fits my needs a little better.

The Boundless vapes are rock solid, so they make the ideal backup. You don't want to have to worry about your backup failing.

They also provide very consistent vapor quality. Not the absolute best, but definitely above average, and great results every single time. Literally no learning curve whatsoever.

The CF(X) is a great all around vape and an amazing value, especially with the discount at Puffitup.

Agree about the CF- I don't think the price difference for the CFX is worth it: I have both. I'd recommend the milaana but it is more expensive than the CF by quite a bit and uses batteries. The CF also has a water adaptor. It's well built as well and has great company backing. I'd also second the solo. It's an older standard vape but I've had mine for several years with 0 problems.

CF, CFX, Solo, or Air. All very reliable, good units.

I think you have a good list and probably can't go wrong with any of them. Personally, I only have experience with the pax2 on your list and it's the most expensive. You may want to watch Buzz Danklin's videos (vaporizerwizard.com). The pax2 may have the best flavor, but people really seem to love their boundless vapes.

If you're quick you can grab a limited ti-Burly one like I just did.

+ 1 for the Solo. Dependable, efficient, tasty, great battery life, plenty of different ways to use it, built like a tank and battle tested over a long period of time. You won't need a backup for your backup with a Solo.

Nothing wrong with the vapes others suggested above, but why not just pick up new batteries for the Launch Box?

I still love my little box even though it was my second vape way back when... a few few dozen vapes and six years latter it still gets used a few times a week and i can hardly picture a better 'back-up' or when It's needed to be my 'only' electronic vape.

Two portables I won't be without are the Magic Flight and the Vapman, both oldies but goodies that IMHO have yet to be beaten in practicality as portables.

I would go that route but can't find any (not in stock) except on ebay. Rather not buy there.

The Vapman might be cool for some of you guys but I'm simply not going to go the flame route. I remember looking into a Solo before I bought my Enano. That or the Air might work but I'm more intrigued with the Boundless models. Will read up on the Arizers more before I decide. Does anyone know if my Enano stuff will work with the Air, like stems and gongs?

If you have an enano, do you need a backup vape? They are very sturdy. As for the stems, I don't think they are interchangeable with the solo or the air. The stems for the air and solo are also somewhat different. I have some stems that work on both arizers but that's not usual.

Vapor quality is a misnomer. Your LB produces the same quality vapor as any model you can buy. What you really mean by vapor quality needs more than just those two words to be clear.

You might check puffitup's 'last call' page for some good, low priced bargains. It's near the bottom on the Menu on the left.
