Still loving this bad boy, or should I say my "Big Bottom"

I met her on Monday, it was my lucky fun day (it really did arrive on a Monday)
You know what I mean
I love her each weekday, each velvety cheekday
You know what I mean

My love gun's loaded and she's in my sights
Big game is waiting there inside her tights

Big bottom, big bottom
Talk about mudflaps, my girl's got 'em
Big bottom, drive me out of my mind
How could I leave this behind?

My baby fits me like a flesh tuxedo
I like to sink her with my pink torpedo

Big bottom, big bottom
Talk about bum cakes, my girl's got 'em
Big bottom, drive me out of my mind
How could I leave this behind?

I love it! Still have not been back to the old one hitter. Only once on a road trip when I didn't bother bringing the PAX. Otheriwse nada. Which is saying something, with the PAX I always found myself going to combustion for that couch lock when I wanted. Very pleased!

I also actually leave mine off when I leave(paranoid). But it's still hitting good within a couple minutes, no issues. I'll walk in, flip the switch to turn it on, by the time I'm situated and the stem is loaded, the nano is ready to go. I've had no issues but I'm not a heavy hitter/session type of guy. I mostly sip.

Also I think I've been on the same screen for quite a while now without cleaning, 4 weeks? I usually tap it out and then give it a quick bow out. Seems to keep the metal screen very clean. Bamboo kabob skewers have a nice tip that cleans out between the stem and the rounded part of the screen real well. The bamboo skewer also makes for a good screen press if you want to make it shallow. I just happened to have them around the house.. I have the extra pack of screens. But that should last me a good long time with the way this one is going.

@Urungus , glad to hear you're liking your nano and it's great that it's helping you fuck combustion. I was more of a glass spoon guy but I would pack small bowls and only hit it once or twice at a time usually. I always used to save as much green as possible for the next hit. The nano effortlessly fit into my lifestyle, with the only difference being that I need less cannabis and it tastes better.

I found another use for my E-Pick last night. I used it to fix some poor machining on the tip of my new Grasshopper. I was trying to figure out the best way to fix it, and thought I would have to do painstaking detail work with a file.

Suddenly I remembered how awesome the E-Pick is and started to use the edge of it to scrape the burrs. Then I noticed the curve on the E was perfect for what I was trying to do. It didn't take long before I had smoothed it to my liking.

If only every vaporizer was built to the standards of the nano! Even with new vapes to try out the nano remains my daily driver and gets used at least a few times each day.

The e-pick is an amazing tool!!!! So many uses.

Love the poem.

Although your screen looks clean at a glance, I'd think that if you give it a cleaning you'll notice an immediate difference. Even if you don't ISO soak, at least crank your heat up to 8 or 9 and vape the wand hash off it. Then pop it out and hit it with a dry old toothbrush or something before it cools all the way. Resin/wand hash is probably coating every strand. Doesn't seem like much but it will usually slow your airflow just enough to effect performance. Plus, you'll probably get a good 4 - 5 (maybe 10 after that long!) hits. No worries about cranking the heat up high except hot vapor in your mouth/throat. Any bubbler will take care that, though. What's on there won't combust and you want to vape every little drop of it you can. Usually these will be very nice hits, too.

FWIW, you'll also notice reduced performance if your glass starts getting all tan, sticky and gooey. Not as much as from the screen, but some. If you crank heat to 9, some of this will vape off too. Clean with a q-tip while still warm, then pull the cotton and vape it for another quick grab of reclaim. I'd keep the cotton at 8 or below - just what it takes to vape the goo. Higher heats on cotton are OK (and supposedly not bad for you), but it will taste a little band-aidy if it gets too hot.

I do both before ISO (q-tip bit only after too long and good buildup) just to get the goodies. Much better than doing QWISO with it IMO, and much quicker and easier! ISO soak to spotless clean can be quick and easy after you vape off what you can, too.

Or, the good old hot milk/hot cocoa/coffee or tea with a good bit of cream in it trick can be fun, too. Just make sure your liquid is very hot and stir the dirty stem screen and all in it. Hot milk fat will absorb the wand hash and make for a tasty edible. Be forewarned, it's nearly impossible to figure just how weak or strong this could be. Might knock your socks off, or might hardly feel it depending on how dirty everything is, and what you vaped through it. After stirring, clean all with very hot water (or ISO then hot water), dry and you're good to go!

Having a clean screen is one of the basics for the most pleasurable nanoing!

I wouldn't recommend that as Q-Tips use adhesive on the cotton. The adhesive could be harmful to vaporize. I would recommend using a bamboo skewer with some cotton from a cotton ball, and use the skewer to push the cotton up and down the stem. Then when it's relatively clean push the cotton close to the heater, bump it up to 7.5, and get ready for some huge hits.

Anyone have a solution for the power cord? the fact that it pulls / tips / "F's" with the stability of the nano

That is really the one thing that I don't like about the Nano but it is a trade off. The AC cord is so much thicker and less flexible than the DC counterparts in the UD and HI but it has more power and built in temp control. It is a good trade off for the better performance but I would love to see the current cord in a different material (maybe cloth wrapped) for some more flexibility.

@bonez use your e pick that comes with your Enano to measure. You don't have to use those exact measurements, whatever height works for you. Put the pick inside the GonG longest side of the e pick sits on the screen and the top of the glass should be even with the little niche. That should work for starters.

Here's a picture.

I never used one of those?

Stand works great as @CarolKing said, or you can put something of the right height under the cord where it plugs into nano. I use the same golf pencil I use for tamping (and measuring after a few quick notches in the right spots). Keeps it perfectly upright and in place unless you accidentally knock or pull the cord.

Don't really think cord could be much thinner since we're using AC power. At least not to dial. Think it could be dangerous to go thick cord from wall to dial and thinner cord from dial to nano. And, would certainly add cost to have something that custom.

Know all won't like this, but in use I often lay nano on its side right on the arm of the sofa. Like any cylinder that has something to prevent rolling (cord), it is more stable laying down than upright. Depending on what I'm doing and how I'm using it, it may sit like that with a few hits taken here or there for hours - like while watching a movie or something. Never an issue other than the arm of sofa getting warm (and not even close to dangerously hot) as long as you orient the business end away from you. Have never burned myself with it pointing towards me, but you'll start to feel the heat coming out of the top if sitting right next to it.

Like @Reflections said above, not nearly as much of an issue with the old nano V1 style non-removable cord. But, is much better to just wait a couple days for a replacement cord than have to send your nano back in and wait for it if (when?) the cord or dial goes. It is the weakest link, so nice that you can easily replace when necessary. My non-removable went after about a year and a half of use, probably because I wasn't too careful with it while taking it out to visit. Usually would just quickly wrap the cord around nano and throw it in my coat pocket or a bag. Removable cord is better for this IME, also.

The golf pencil has been part of my nano gear for years. I play a little mini golf a couple times a year, so just grab a few extras in whatever colors I like. I grind down the pencil point end so almost no graphite showing (just the center) and use it for quick stir. The other end makes a nice little tamper. After I grind down point, I rub both ends over a piece of cardboard until it leaves almost no mark. Probably a little graphite contact with my load while being used, but have never noticed any taste issues or anything else. Though I can draw pictures with the tip of my tongue now. Just kidding! Never a problem, but am anticipating someone coming on to tell me about lead poisoning.

I also put a few notches in the pencil at preferred screen height, deep screen height and max load height. Easy to do with any sharp object. I use a utility knife. Works great for screen adjustments in GonG and one end of stem. And, never sweat losing one either. Always easy to find more pencils if I ever run out. Think using pencils mostly and keeping my cool @Ratchett scoop-n-stir for only the pre load-dump stir and loading when I want to scoop has kept me from losing it. It costs a bit more than "free" pilfered pencils, and would be harder to replace.

Thanks Epicvape for the new silicone guards, aroma cup and the extra GonG, now I have three.:D
If you order a pack of guards they come in the plastic container we like to clean our stems in, if you are running short. I love these guards with Epicvape written on them, it's so cute.

So I had to return my unopened nano bc of a financial road block that occurred. Ups has tried twice to return the package and today is final attempt. The email I sent to customer service after a couple emails last week was returned bc Mailbox is full.

Is this something to be concerned about? Has the company suddenly gone bankrupt. Does anyone have a username of someone on here I can PM. I'm very concerned now that I won't get my refund or a nano!

Ok talked to person she didn't realize email system was down and she was running errands last two days but will be there today.

Been a while, but finally got a chance to snap a pick of my new Amboyna Burl nano. Loving the look, and even the cracks. So much character!! Just hope the cracks don't grow.

EDIT: Ran into my old buddy grape ape on his way through town. Rarely see him or any of his purp relatives in this neck of the woods. Taste is f'n amazing with him sitting right in between this lovely nano at 5.75 and my fav J-hook. And, he's killing with that trademark happy groove I've been missing for so long.

Nummy, num, nummmmmmm.

Already got an RMA for my third return. Cracked wood for the second time. Just waiting for a good time to return it since I will be without a device for probably another week. I live in a desert where it is extremely dry. Any advice for those conditions are welcome.

Lately I've been keeping a dedicated concentrate stem. This way it doesn't get any particulates or plant matter mixed in with the reclaim. What you end up with is basically pure honey oil as reclaim. Once you have a good amount, heat the stem up for a while, and use a bamboo skewer and some organic cotton to soak up all the goodies. Vape at 7.5 and prepare for take off. Because it is solvent and particulate free it tastes great!

I've got a stem building up a nice amount now, it's almost looking like candy inside. :brow:
