Many vapes & accessories. Always happy to help
Hi peeps,

still waiting for my order, so I can't partake actively... But soon I hope.

Lately, I don't seem to get replies from George anymore, so I was wondering, if anyone else experienced the same?
Been patiently waiting for more than 3 months now and am a bit worried cause I'm going on vacation soon...:(

Enjoy your Vaps:peace:

Just wondering- on the dv variety page, George shows some of those beautiful silver colored stems with the drops on them. I can't see where to buy one on the site or find more info as to what they fit. I have too many dv products as it is but I love those.

I believe George is calling those bodies, "Copper puddles". http://www.dynavap.com/contact/ I'd use the contact function to reach out to Matt/George for more info. As far as I know, they're all shorty bodies.

With all due respect, I would not want to use the DynaVap with a battery. I am trying to get away from batteries, spares, chargers and the like. The DV is a joint without the combustion. You lite it and you puff on it. No wait. No muss or fuss. It is instant demand. If I want to wait for a battery operated instrument to warm up, I will use my Air. Silly talk, IMH, of course.

Yeah... the website is really displaying some FANTASTIC combinations, stunning options, beautiful woods, mesmerizing copper and a plethora of shapes and sizes. I can't wait for even more options to be added to the shop pages.

I think the body you are referring to may be the ...

Copper Stoned. :)

I have one of these. It is beautiful. I does not roll when placed on a flat surface but is easy to twirl when heating. It is heftier than my other Vapcaps and the extra weight feels nice in the hand. It even fits in the Dynastash!

It is my favourite.

George will likely add this short body and maybe other short body options to his Shop page at some point soon. But in the meantime you could contact him to place an order and enquire about their availability.

An alternate view is I use my VC 99% of the time indoors at home so a battery heat source is perfect for my needs. As for heat up time it would be the same as a torch lighter & there are numerous vids on you tube that show how quick it is.

If I want a portable I use my Air as it is just easier all round especially carrying pre packed stems or using with company.

@vapen00b that really sux about the timeframe bro. I would try sending another email with your order # to see what the delay is. I can honestly say that George is a pleasure to deal with & communication has never been a issue unlike another vendor whose product you are also awaiting. I expect that your email probably got flagged as completed or read & that is easy enough when you have a full inbox.

I managed to fit a Ti screen in my OG as well so happy days although the crack in the MP area is getting bigger.

Hi there,

I report my happy landing of OmniVap. Cap is shorter than Ti-wood 1.0 which really lacks of airflow thus extraction steadiness. Very peaked thing.

I broke pyrovap cleaning it, offered OG vapcap so i was on the fence and had not fully witnessed the power of this little vape tool. Now i have.

Omnivap is a very restricted airflow with the carb closed but have a powerfull an steady extraction. I went full metal to balance the "fall on the floor" factor of a tiny object. Double torch is plenty enough, pass the click 3 sec more and you have combustion, i went near.

If you respect the click and you pair the omnivap onto the water you have a tiny little beast on your bubbler who will smog your pieces to the heaviest vapor if you play wil click + 1 and 2 seconds.

I went to the beach to test it dry. Dry is a tiny cigar you have to puff it down because it will burn no matter how, you put heat in there so you have extraction. The water experience made me feel that the steadiness of airflow (carb closed) shows the peak of extraction.

After one week of numerous use, one clean up, one screen change (to ultrafine SS).

Still to try vong, Actual Ti-wood, xl condenser, rings on the wood.

Stay vaped friends.

Hi all

Anyone know where I can get 8mm ti screens that would fit the vapcap and omnivap in Australia??
Thanks in advance.

A little portable heating dock would be neat as well.

Let's try to get a stationary one first before we get in over our heads :ko:
I'd love to be able to take a puff or two in the middle of the night to help get back to sleep, without waking the wife, or leaving the room. Or sit on my couch in the evening and not use up any butane. A little plug in heating station would be awesome. Also one for my car cigarette lighter would be sweet also..as vaping and driving can be a bit tricky.

Here you go @Hoey420 & welcome to FC :). Good company to deal with for vape supplies locally as well (or at least within 10,000km )

Plug in would be considerably better for me, Something that has a standard socket would be best so you can just change the cable depending on what region you are in.

Or USB... Not sure if usb would supply enough power tho.

A plug in heating station would be very cool- shouldn't be too difficult to design it so that it is only activated when a Vapcap is inserted too, so that it only heats when needed. I'm thinking like a spring-loaded contact switch or something.

Something like that connected to an ecigar battery would be awesome and less suspicious to use in some places and/or situations.

No respect due, really. :D

To be clear, I wouldn't want to change the heat-with-anything aspect of the VC. I wouldn't over-engineer this case with precise temperature control (edit: or even a built-in charger) because the VC already has that covered. You may not be a flashlight geek like me, but I have a pile of 18650 batteries. They are easy and inexpensive to source. They hold and put out a good amount of juice. There are tons of off-the-shelf inexpensive chargers. A perfectly shaped and sized heating element could probably heat up the VC in 10-20 seconds.

Don't focus on the battery part so much. Imagine dynastash power in one hand, VapCap in the other. You could load, heat, puff, puff, reaheat, puff, dump, reload, heat again, on and on very quietly and discreetly sitting down or taking a stroll without ever having to put something down or pocket-juggling the stash and heat source.

To be accommodating, for you, the Dynastash Fire and FireER. A slightly larger dynastash with built-in butane heater. Activated by inserting the VC into the heating chamber. ;)

@greenextinguisher and all you other Li - ion/ VC heat station folk this has to stop.
As if I haven't got enough going on trying to get my 'Vapor related' thread off the ground and you lot keep sending my mind elsewhere.
If you take a look in the Titan 2 thread you will see mine in bits. There should be a foto of the kapton/polyamide heat element. The element is still serviceable even tho the pcb isn't.
Because I can't help myself I am now going to have to try and make something out of the bits I have. Thanks
Enjoy your weekends everyone.

Did a session in my CF with ELB then removed the ELB while chamber still warmed up put the concentrate pod in the chamber put the mouthpeice on and took a few draws to warm everything up properly.
All this talk of vapcap station, i just had to try it out.
20160701_053556_zps4vov3xgm.jpg

It heated it up took about 2-3 min and was producing decent low temp clouds. I experemented with just leaving it in the unit and taking draws got some really nice hits. I was listening for the click and it never happened so its only good for for surfing low temp hits or maybe prewarming your cap to save some tane. I dunno might be more trouble than its worth but i thought i would share my experience. After 2 5 min sessions the vapor started to get whispier so i took it out took off the cap and checked the ABV i didn't cash it just looked at the tip it was medium dark brown. Put cap on hit it with my triple torch till the click got 1 pretty decent cloud, then did one last cycle with torch and the last hit was very whispy. So all in all it acctually extracted almost everything even though it never got enough to click. My CF only goes up to 415 degrees and also the CF heats more when you acctually draw air through it, so no clue exactly what temp i was at. The CFX goes 15 degrees higher so maybe that might get a click? Im not sure if i will really ever use this often but it was fun to experiment with.

I also like the idea of the cigarette lighter vapcap station you could plug into your car that sounds awesome.

Yikes 3 months? I'm admittedly getting impatient and it's only been a little over a month!

That said, I never got an email back from a few weeks ago either. They're probably just busy but it definitely is a tough and discouraging wait.

Damn you, party liquor
Stopping in to tell on myself. I cleaned my ti woody yesterday to get ready for the long weekend. I mean really cleaned it. I even took steel wool to the outside of the Ti to get it sparkly clean again and even soaked and washed my cap.

Come this morning I went for a lovely session out on the deck with my coffee and went with my two flame torch. Heated it up to the first click and a sizzling sound met me after the click and volumes of vapor are coming out both ends. I'm panicking because I just combusted in my clean as can be woodie right? Nope. Let's all remember that steam is vapor too haha. That vapor I saw was residual water from my cleaning the cap that must have been trapped in between the discs of metal in the cap. When heated past boiling it steamed out everyplace it could.
After I realized it was all good I looked at the load and it was still green. Just slightly moisture conditioned.

Happy 4th all!!

DV products are definitely worth the wait, so hang in there!
At least we're not in the GH thread!
I paid for one of them 11 months ago, and will probably have to wait another 3 or so before I eventually get the damn thing :bang:
Dynavaps unexpected level of popularity is well deserved, and George has said that he's making moves to increase speed of production despite what must be a pretty daunting workload (although he probably wouldn't put it that way himself as he seems to thrive on it).
He and Matt are 'on it' I think, 3 months sounds very unusual.
Hopefully you'll be vapping soon.

As Stevenski suggested though, try PM'ing @VapCap again if you're becoming concerned, as George and Matt are fantastic to deal with.

Yeah, I have noticed some moisture gets trapped in there even after drying with a paper towel. I suppose that is why George recommends against using ISO.
