Where are the Game of Throne fans?

Wasn't sure how they would top The Wall battle from last season but they did. The scene with the calvary charge where the camera followed John around the mayhem for a while was stunningly beautiful to watch.

Then the ending was just perfect after an "Oh fuck..." moment.

So glad that fucker finally got what he deserved.

When John Snow was beating his face to a pulp I thought - 'No! He deserves much worse than being beaten to death!'

And then...queue the dogs!

I'm gonna have to watch that dog scene again to check out whether the dogs were real or CGI. I've seen some Blue Nose pits that were every bit as beautiful and powerful as those in the scene.... but I was pretty toasted. Worth a second peek.

Read an article this morning that summed it up well. Basically, after 6 years we get to finally see 3 dragons fuck shit up in epic battle, and that was TOPPED by a non fantasy battle between men using historic tactics (with the exception of Wun Wun). This battle topped Hardhome from last season and I loved that episode.

Despite some flaws, I can't think of another televised hour that was better in my life and I'm pushing 40. Epic episode was epic.

We're here to fuck shit up.
The room I was in as I watched was nearly torn asunder as I screamed at the television at the top of my lungs with nothing but NO! NO! NO!.....

Until the satisfying moment when they unfurled the Stark Banner over Winterfell once again. It felt so good to see that.

Jon Snow surviving every single arrow volley that was sent towards him was absolutely amazing. I think that it was no coincidence at all how Berrick Dondarion stated how The Lord of Light was keeping him alive for a reason a couple episodes back. Jon Snow is definitely being kept alive. There's no other way to explain his survival of all that madness.

I had to turn my head during some of the scenes. I thought for sure Jon Snow was going to get sliced. I'm glad he didn't. How about that giant? I loved him.

Glad that fucker got it in the end by his own dogs. He didn't even fight with his men, damn coward.
Did you notice the name of the episode? It was called "Battle of the Bastards".

Jon Snow definitely had some sort of magical protection surrounding him since he didn't get killed.

I don't know if it was the buzz I had during the first showing but watching it a second time later that night I picked up on a few nuances I missed the first time. I'd mention them but I don't want to be a spoiler. Lets just say I had more time to note the look on people's faces that I didn't notice before....especially when someone met the eyes of someone else in silence but communicated the unspoken feeling.

I feel the same way. I watched it again today. I noticed way more stuff the second time around.

I hadn't noticed what ended up happening to the young boy King either until I watched it a second time. It happened so quick.

What happened at the church was so planned. What about Little Finger? He's going to cause trouble too next season. He will be informing the opposition.

I must have been too much under the influence to have not noticed all that I missed.

....really interesting how tv is evolving to be the most creative medium....(at the moment)...movies have devolved to comic book status...and aging men ...as ..."bad asses"...yeah I know it's somewhat a generalization, but hollywoods constant chasing after the "blockbuster bucks" has presented tv with interesting options...some (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon ) ...along with HBO etc are offering interesting alternatives....
...hope I didn't hijack thread...if admin. feels should be moved...cool..

Loved the finale!

That opening scenes were amazing in their own dreadful way.
Cercie knows how to handle vengeance properly. But she used her son in her plot and the guilt of that drove him to suicide...and so finally, just like the old gypsy woman told her, she has lost all of her children.

Things are definitely starting to progress.

Glad to see Arya back in Westeros getting revenge like she said she would.

It will be interesting to see how the story progresses with Dany and her dragons/army on the way to Westeros as well.

Ever since he was resurrected, I had a feeling in my gut that we were going to learn about some hidden circumstances regarding Jon Snow's birth and true parents.

I'm glad to see Sansa and Jon stick together...defenitely some foreshadowing with Little Finger making claim to the throne while talking to Sansa...he could be dangerous next season.

I have been waiting for them to say, "winter is here" for a while...finally.

I have my predictions but I suppose I should just keep them to myself.
Next season will be intense, that much can be said.

Well.....The post was meant to show that they 'look' like twins but I get your point about the leadership approach.
