Many vapes & accessories. Always happy to help
I love Gus for many reasons. Had an awesome Boston Terrier for 11 years named Gus, but can't name a vape after my precious boy. I hate Ludwig, plus my Milaana are girls.

What about "Beaker" :D :p

Might name my second or third unit like that! ;)

Any one have any idea how many amps the Mi actually draws? I know RBT suggests high drain 20A batteries but my 16A Panasonics seem to work fine. I'm wondering if I can find a 4.2v 20A power supply I can make a wired adaptor for the milaana.

@cannabis.pro That's perfect!

Will it be available in different lengths?

But I like it!
So after a couple of wierd episodes, combined with reading a few other tales of droppage woe, I ordered a couple more Millaanas. One is for a friend who is struggling to find a decent vape, and the second one gets locked away in a 'break glass in case of emergency' type situation.

So, since I'm jumping firmly into Battery World, what would you battery wizards suggest for a decent quality 4 cell charger? I have a Nitecore D2 now that will probably go with the spare Milaana.

Also someone mentioned a decent place in Canada for batteries? Pardon moi pour website info svp? Gracias :)

Very slow at the beginning, and slow if my throat is feeling harsh. Halfway through, or towards the end, sometimes just for the fuckcombustion of it, I'll pull extremely hard for a few seconds to see what happens. The volume of vapor I get just isn't even funny. That's a bit too intense though sometimes, so normally I draw slow.
Recently I've been going a bit faster through water just to utilize the free airflow of the device. Just need a longer preheat and to start off slow to heat the herb, then start pulling harder.

When I say, "very slow", I mean about 15-20% of your max inhale speed.
"Extremely hard" is like 70-80%
Through water I've been starting at about 20% and increasing to 40%-60%

I slowed mine down per your technique and I notice much smoother vapor. Huge clouds still:)

Wow.....the news just keeps getting better and better! :disgust: :cuss:

Although my PayPal account shows that my order was shipped last Friday. The tracking number that I requested (which wasn't included in my PayPal shipping description) actually shows that the order wasn't sent to the post office until end of day - yesterday

Bravo RBT! For someone that was supposedly at the "top of the list" to be shipped for last Monday.....it actually took a whole extra week to have my package shipped.

This means that my order is highly unlikely to get here before the long weekend.....and even better.....Canada Post is likely to go on strike as of July 2nd......so that would mean that it gets locked away in the warehouse until the strike ends :goon:

Highly disappointed in RBT for waiting until Monday to ship after it supposedly was shipped last Friday according to PayPal......someone decided that it wasn't worth dropping off at the post office before the weekend and thereby lost the extra 3 days that it could have been in transit

So who knows when it might arrive. The only hope that I have now is that it moves very quickly through customs and gets out on the truck for delivery for Thursday morning. I heard that due to the potential strike that parcel shipments through the post is down .....so a lower volume for mail processing is about the only chance that might result in seeing my Milaana before the long weekend.......the second long weekend that I was hoping to have in for (May 24th was the last one).......but I won't be holding my breath

Meanwhile PlanetVape orders long after me (my preorder vs retail order - I will again stress) and they get their retail models more than a full month before I do......and now due to an impending strike - who knows when. Definitely not the way to do business in my books! :horse: :bang:

I'd go with this one. Or they have the 6-Bay for $40.

I got the Milaana today. Mine came with a green wrapped battery. I'm pretty sure it's a Sony VTC4 or VTC5. It was pretty dead out of the box so it immediately went on the charger. Thankfully I had a couple LG HE4's ready to go so I was able to try it out before work.

I am impressed with the efficiency of this thing. Coming from the nano I wasn't expecting to be impressed in this area but I took several nice hits before the load even started to brown. Flavor is fantastic...especially with the short stem. I managed to get some Mango Kush this past weekend and the first hit of a MK bowl through Milaana is heavenly on the taste buds.

I still need more time with it to truly develop an opinion but the first impression is very positive.

So I've bought a spare Milaana from someone who unfortunately burned it up leaving the button on.

I'm going to attempt to make a new body for it.

The bottom cap came off far too easily, as did the glass. I suspect the crazy amount of heat from the button being left on weakened the glue quite a bit. I've taken it all apart. taken out the button, the heater, the wires.

I'm at once impressed by the build quality and bewildered at how damn simple this thing is. You could make a Milaana equivalent with a quick trip to home depot and your local headshop.

But this thing is built very well, very carefully. The power leads to the heater are the only thing that leave the heating chamber. And the holes they follow to the rest of the circuitry are extremely tight, no air is going with them. Every aspect of the build has that level of care.

There's one aspect of the design I REALLY like. There's no solder. Every bit of wire or metal is screwed in, so I don't even have to question if it uses "lead free solder" or not. There's none there.

I'm excited to make my custom case, but admittedly it will probably be weeks or months before it's complete. I'm rather busy. In the meantime I'll be enjoying my stock Mi quite a bit. My other vapes go untouched. This thing is simple as hell, but still the most effective vape I've come across.

For those that use a courser grind I'm finding I get hardly any vapor with this method. There isn't any draw resistance so I'm struggling with a course grind. Fine grind tho and I'm good.

Damn. I don't get any vapor out of my milaana. Going to have to contact RBT and see how long it takes to get fixed. I can hold the button in for 20 seconds and still not get any vapor. So sad, no awesome convection for 4th of July.

Sorry to hear that. Did it ever work at all or did it arrive a dud?

It is a dud out of the box.
Does the device get hot? Can you feel hot air when you inhale? Did you charge your cell fully when receiving it? How much do you load?
It gets warm, just not warm enough to vape. I have 5 batteries all fully charged. I have loaded it all ways and watched every video out there. Mine just doesn't vape. :(

That sucks. But it's intriguing. Do you have a multi-meter?

If there was a partial short, the part still heating should get hotter than normal. Can you see anything glowing under the GonG bottom screen?

I really wonder how it could get warm but not enough, it's such a simple circuit.

Sorry if you already answered this....what battery are you using?

Edit: Oops, I see GTA beat me to that question by a good 24 minutes. lol
