Looks like th
Looks like the clogging problem will be fixed. Also looks like there is much less chance of water getting in the AC cart. With that much room for water that looks like it will work very well.

Exactly my thoughts as well. I like how small the Nibbler AC is but the clogging and leaking is a bit annoying.

The leaking can mostly be prevented by putting the little triangle up out of the water when you pull out the AC. I usually put more water in mine than it's supposed to have. It works great that way and I only get a little water back in the AC once in a while. It doesn't hurt anything so I don't worry about it much and just dry things off.

I have an AC v1 and just started using my 1701 ceramic donut coil and now mod doesn't recognize it. Is this a know issue? I was running it at 15 watts. Anything I can do to fix it.

Also have theses coil been upgraded since the AC v1?

Maybe I'm just not seeing it right, but the side looks really tall. Is that going to fit other stuff? As in is it tall enough for a herc? I'm not sure what the diameter difference on the herc and ac are. I'd love an all in one.

I too would love it if the next rev of the Kiss AC standardized on the diameter of the Hercules. As it stands the Kiss AC is a little thinner and so the Nibbler AC will not fit the Hercules.

Since I use my Nibblers at home and not out and about I actually really enjoy the larger size. One of the problems I always had with the smaller Nibblers (G, GN, AC v1 and U) was that they just hold very little water. Whenever I buy a bubbler/perc I want a significant volume of water to really cool down that vapor/smoke. So to me, the Nibbler AC v2 is just perfect. You can fill a lot of water and there are zero issues with it getting into your mouth. Also the Nibbler AC v2 sticks with the honeycomb water trap at the top which works great and there are no annoying issues clearing the water out like with the slit water trap design used in the Nibbler G.

RezBlock prevents the clogging.

I tried Rezblock as recommended but I found that it altered the taste significantly enough that I did not want to continue using it.

This is great advice. The issue of "leaking" happens due to the blockage of air paths. Typically what will happen to me is the Kiss cart or Herc will have it air holes a bit clogged, like right after the oil has cooled and resolidified. This creates a suction when removing the Nibbler which pushes the water up and out the path of least resistance. Holding the Nibbler at an angle so that the air hole is out of the water will correct the air path so it can be safely removed.

Huge fan of this new Nibbler revision. This sets the standard by which I will evaluate all future vape bubblers!

Try just one or two tiny drops of RexBlock for the amount of water that fits in a Nibbler. Well, one is enough if you don't overfill it.

Mine broke at the skirt and I ended up cutting the rest of the skirt off so the AC goes into the base up until the fins sit flush with the wide part of the Nibbler. I wish the glassblowers could just take the skirt off right away. The 3 o rings seal it well without the skirt.

I do like the look of the new version. It looks a bit more bulky but much more functional.

Looking @ the pic of the new version it looks like there could be room in there for a stripped down Herc with a slimmer Nibbler AC body to make it fit. Makes me want to stick the sr-71 body in a lathe and turn it down to AC v2 diameter........you listenin' G? Aw heck, you probably already thought of that a year or six ago....lol

@SamuraiSam can you post the pic of my Nibbler I sent you? I can't load pics here.

I just wanted to note that my Hercules actually seems to work quite well with temperature control on my TC Vaporizers, even though it was said that this feature is not yet possible, or at least officially supported. To get it working, I just put the Vaporizer on the Ti01 setting, lock in the starting resistance, play around with the Temperature to find a level that doesn't set off the TC too often (I try to set it fairly low, to compensate for the different material), leave it at 35 watts, and let the Hercules vape. Obviously I can't tell for certain that the temperature is sensing fully accurately (and I am assuming that it is at least somewhat inaccurate since it's set for Titanium 1, rather whatever is inside the Hercules) but I've been pleasantly surprised that this even works, and I have not noticed any burnt oil thus far. Someone else had mentioned earlier that they also had success with this, so just echoing this has worked, and appears to be doing what is supposed to do (prevent overheating.)

Been a while since I switched back to glass, but I'm finding myself wanting a pen set up again, for portable use. I got a pre-filled cart for going down the shore, but want to get the kiss alpha centauri. My question is, I need a battery/mod for my pre-filled cart, and the kiss alpha in the near future. Will a variable voltage stick like the vision spinner work? Or should I go for something that's variable wattage? like 30-50watts?

Just get the Omicron v4 and use that battery. It is sub-ohm capable so it will fire the AC and your 510 thread pre-filled cart.

probably gonna get a cheap variable volt for this weekend, but definitely gonna order the omicron v4 kit, as it is only 10 more than the AV cart itself lol. Which mAh should I go with?

Edit: My cart is reading 2.4 ohms, and my fake hana modz variable wattage mod is only goes down to 7w, and it still seems a bit too powerful. Maybe the 900mAh would be perfect for me.

You can get a good box mod for $30- $40 that would be capable of firing both carts you mention and then some.

What's better is you can get one of the Temp Control mods and really dial in W9 Ti coils.

Now with some use, how’s the mini volt performing along with life span?

While patiently awaiting the new Persei, I am stoked that I was able to pickup the 510 bottom adapter and a black rod for the Hercules. Also picked up some AC dual coils while I was at it to take advantage of the free shipping. Loving the Herc again in 510! I had phased out the 601 stuff from my rotation and had tucked the Herc away. I was charging the battery for my Evic VTC mini, so I decided to try the Herc out at 26w with the MiniVolt. I am surprised at how hard the damn thing hit. Pretty impressive for a such a small mod. Can't wait for that side loading Persei!

In all honesty, I use my Evic VTC Mini most often. The Mini Volt works great, but it is indeed only a 1200 mAh battery so lifespan will be about half of the replaceable 18650's we use. I typically keep it charged and in one of my bags for a backup.

is there a recommended temp for the w9 ti dual coils? and would the temp jump up and down like the volts/wattage after a large hit. also the "evic vtwo mini" looks nice.

Pretty sure W9 recommends 3-5 second pulses at 10-13 Watts.

If you are referencing temp control, I run my dual coils at TCR 352, 15 Watts, 380-450 F. Pulsing when I feel like it.

so when your running your mod at 15watts, it ranges from 380-450? even when your using temp control?

In temperature control mode, I set the temperature. I set it at 15W to give it fairly quick ramp up time. Then, 380ish for smaller, more flavorful hits. And, on up for fatter hits, but sacrificing of some flavor. When I have a water piece attached, I usually do 450.

Hello guys....I was curious if I could ask an off topic question...recently an individual left a provari p3 in my car.....I was told to keep this vape and was wondering if I was fortunate enough that these amazing carts would fit it?....which carts are optimal for herb versus concentrates?....once again sooo sorry if I offended anyone by naming an off subject product... I just wanted these w9 carts for both wax and flower...any input is soooo appreciated.

That’s a very expensive mod to leave behind! I would recommend the Kiss Gen 3 carts and/or the Kiss Alpha Centauri as they both work well. Make sure the P3 firmware is updated, running Ver38 as it operates to .5 ohms and will better handle the low cart resistance without errors.

many thanks for your input....I might pm you on how to update said firmware if its ok with you sir?....is the kiss v3 currently available?
