That's wonderful if folks can afford $500 water tools and breaking it late at night when medicated and tired is no big deal. Some folks also have limited mobility and handling expensive pieces might be a major risk financially to them. We are entitled to our own opinion regarding what works well for us. If a person feels they are getting as much function and pleasure out of a tool that cost $400 less than the original I say each to their own.

The EVO works great with the regular mouthpiece too. The vaporizer itself is the star not the size or cost of an expensive water tool. I've seen some fuck ups on some expensive water tools and then the company wouldn't take it back. I'm not talking about VapeXhale. It's a risk sometimes buying vaporizers and accessories.

I say spend $400 or 500 on a glass piece but if you can't risk the chance of breaking it buy DHgate or something that fits your budget. Spending $500 on a vaporizer is different than spending $500 on glass.

The EVO is the bomb all buy itself.

When @stickstones introduced me to a bunch of VXL and less expensive versions of glass in a speed test I could tell the difference and I'm nowhere near a glass expert. The VXL pieces are better BUT As @CarolKing pointed out ....It's a personal decision when it comes to the price point and whether the differential is worth the cost.

I would guess that a 'collector' who values the art aspect as well as the perfection and functional aspects would choose the VXL and other expensive, well made, pieces. For someone like myself who is a noob and not a collector.... $500 is a lot of money. If I bought a $500 piece I would be too nervous to use it...unless it were someone else's and they held it for me :rofl:

Well put @CarolKing very well put, i agree with everything you said and I get that not everyone wants to spend money on glass, it breaks and there are a million reasons to sacrifice some of the function and art of a $500 dollar piece to not loose that amount of money when it breaks.

I used to work as a caretaker in So Cal and I know some patients simply have issues with mobility or they could have tremors or many other issues that makes using glass a problem. I would never expect someone with those issues to buy the real deal $500 dollar tube. China glass is good to have around and it's not all that bad if you know where to look. I just think credit is due to the great glass as well. When I see mothership pieces going for 20+ thousand dollars!?! Then I wonder where the world is going? I mean that's messed up and I can't explain why those pieces are worth THAT much to you, idk how they do it hahaha.

I think most under $1000 really nice American glass is expensive for a good reason, At least a lot of the time and I think the folks over at symbiartics and the ones over at 2010 BC deserve to be seen as better than the China glass blowers who copied them.:2c:

I would never be able to afford a $500 hydratube just to let everyone know.. I mean I guess I could but I would be way to afraid to even use it if bought it and I never would because that's quite a bit of money. The extent of my nice glass is some original VXL pieces, the bomb base, and an American double matrix perc bubbler I won from a raffle at the LHS lol. No glass snob here, most of my glass is Chiniese lol.

Lol dude I have ordered over 40 pieces of dhgate glass and it ranges from thick and half way nice to thin and halfway nice. They are mass produced and I am personally very happy and lucky to own some good glass because I use China and American glass on a daily basis and I can tell the difference very easily. I mean I guess if we asked you a Mobius clone is as good or better than a real Mobius? That's not good logic man! Lol just saying don't say something sucks before you get to try it, I used to think Mobius was over priced glass, why not get a remake? But then you hit a real one and you see.. Too bad glass breaks lol. But it isn't easy to make the super high quality stuff like that sybiartics tube.. I mean that's a beautiful piece of art compared even to the China remake of it, that thing looks beautiful.

If anyone gets the real sybiartics please post some pics and some videos. those things are so sick!

Glass is only a great material.

Does not effect flavor and Does not break.

I have Custom Made pieces with crooked perks.
I have IMPORTS with straight perks.
Filling a trash can full of glass no problem. (I've done it)
Import or custom glass breaks equally the same!

Time for a EVO session with my favorite ASH COLLECTOR and JHOOK.

I just need to rig it!

Not to be pompus however VAPORIERS and parts are not of any real value.
Glass and WOOD are only a medium.

+1 for fc-mod. One hell of a bubbler. I just recieved it last night. It's a small can and I wish I could try a real devastator to compare but it's still very good indeed.

the fc mod is a great bubbler i bought two so it would be perfect when i had them. i used to break alot of glass but now with my own place and no room mates ive done a good job, fingers crossed lol. but that thing is awesome. it isnt a 2010 bc piece unfortunately but it will kick you in the head i promise. great customizeable piece for the EVO.

I don't want to keep this kind of discussion going, but in every second post of yours there seems to the sentiment of your purchases being based in more reasonable thought, than what others do with their money. Let me just tell you, that value proposition is always very subjective and I think it's strange to see you implying you objectively know the best way to spend money.

Like I said, I don't even want to discuss this, but don't be surprised if people pick up those subtle but obvious signs of you trying to ridicule others for simply and rightfully using their money for whatever makes them happy.

We need to do a spread sheet comparison.
With my SCA do you realize I broke $1,000's in glass however I'm embarrassed to confirm such waste.

I had a lot of glass made in USA and broke most of it.
Some hate me however I do get some imported glass to off set the cost!

Vapor King is right, though. The difference in design/function won't be worth an additional $450 to many people (especially if you're average income). I'd probably get more dirty looks for spending $500 on glass, than for buying a Chinese knockoff.

Definitely support Vapexhale/Symbiartic if you've got the cash, though. Their glass is likely thicker around the joints, higher quality, and made by reputable people. I'm by no means suggesting people shouldn't support Vapexhale/Symbiartic, as they are great at what they do. I just feel it would be foolish to spend so much, given my income, though.

I've broken a lot of glass as well and can attest to the durability. I've tapped the glass a number of times and still have yet to see any wear.

I'd get something like the Devastator, but I had a very unpleasant mishap the other day. I tried inhaling directly from the medical tubing (as I didn't get an external rig, yet). It worked surprisingly well, but I noticed an extremely foul odor emanating from the tubing an hour later.

Could smell it from inside the desk drawer and everything. I'd be cautious about connecting any external pieces to it, depending on where my session is. Perhaps it's user error and I just combusted without realizing? Do you guys get stenches from medical tubing?

To be honest, I'd probably have to use the medical tubing and get an adapter, as I'd hate to mount the Vapexhale upside down on any glass (much less Chinese).

Again, I don't want to keep this going, but I have to comment on this since you're basically suggesting that I was stating that there's a correct way. However, my goal was quite the opposite, I advocated for the subjectiveness of value, so all in all I'm saying nobody should bash anyone for what they're buying - it's fully dependant on what suits your needs.
